Somebody has started a facebook rumor that Palin will be in charge of the Library of Congress.
Excellent pick by Trump, who so far has the most conservative cabinet of any Republican presidents.
So much winning.
Ya gotta love the use of the word “shun”....cute...
I doubt if Palin was ever seriously considered for any cabinet level position. Her name was mostly floated by the fakenews media just to stir the pot, and rile up the leftist loons.
Shunned? She never wanted to be a secretary.
This is an excellent pick...some enviro whacko groups scores here a zero which works for me.
She wants us energy independent which in the scary world we live who needs intimidation or fear of OPEC...we have resources...use them!
What does Tyler Durden know?
Typical liberal divide and conquer, trying to sow discord amongst Trump/Palin supporters. We’ve all heard of ‘community organizing’, well this its journalistic counterpart.
Also it looks like Giuliani and Christie are out of the running for cabinet positions.
McCain and Linda claim to be able to see Moscow from the Steps of the Capitol.
I’m not sure how she feels about it, but to me Governor Palin is more valuable as an independent voice outside of any government structure.
Any President needs to have their actions examined to make sure they are representing the American people; Sarah has shown she’s unafraid to challenge the status quo no matter which party is in power.
Plus, she has a special needs child that requires constant attention. I think she’ll stay in Alaska.
Cathy McMorris Rodgers is an outstanding pick.
“Trump shuns Palin” in the title is not what this pick means. Palin was mentioned early on as a possibility for Interior, but updates since then seem to emphasize Veterans instead.
I’m a big Sarah Palin fan and hope Trump picks her. If she does not, it may be because her characterization of the Carrier deal as “Cronyism” may have ruled her out. I have seen nothing on how Todd Palin’s recovery is going, and that could be a factor as well.
how is this a conservative pick? Not that I particularly care who gets this position Sarah would have been great because the media would have freaked out and that would have providing hours of entertainment but did she even care to have the position? Probably not
Shun implies and unimpressed disapproval based on inferiority.
#fakenews
Did Trump actually make this statement or did another social commentator (they used to be called “journalists)simply repeat a rumor another social commentator made??
Maybe Sarah doesn’t want the job. She’s pretty effective right where she is at . . . as a king maker.
Another solid pick...
Here are some of her quotes from Wikipedia.
“Private ownership of property is vital to both our freedom and our prosperity.”
“Maintaining healthy forests is essential to those who make a living from the land and for those of us who use them for recreational purposes.”
“Everywhere I travel throughout Eastern Washington, I hear from people demanding we do a better job of controlling our borders and reducing illegal immigration.”
Amen
Sarah is a target and would do my harm than good simply being who she is. She is a fantastic conservative who has had her time of truly useful public service.
She might be good at that. I think Palin is a little too unstable and unpredictable to have a position as visible as Dept of the Interior. I liked her when she started out and was still Governor of Alaska, but then I think she became a personality in her own mind and forgot her principles.
She might be great at the Library of Congress, which is something that needs serious reform...and has ever since Sandy Berger was allowed to walk out with documents in his socks and never held to account by the Ultimate Gentleman, GWB.
