We keep reading in the media that the job market is on fire, that we´re near full employment. But it´s a sad truth that the monthly jobs report doesn´t really reflect what´s going on in our hobbled economy.
As everyone knows by now, the jobs data for November show a decline from 4.9% to a 4.6% unemployment rate, as businesses created 178,000 new payroll jobs. What could be better? While we applaud these improvements, they mask deeper problems with the U.S. job market.

Exactly right.
There won’t be upward wage pressure if they keep importing labor.
My bet is that Trump will clean house at the Bureau of Labor Statistics and they will come out with a real unemployment figure. Trump needs to have an honest baseline or the MSM will eff with him over his “lack of improvement!”
Statistically and theoreticaly...
the unemployment rate can go to ZERO,
and Obama and democrats would still brag out loud and forever, about how their “wonderful economic policies” provided jobs for all Americans...
but,
Obama and democrats would NEVER tell the truth about how it only occurred because all of the unemployed stopped looking for work.
It’s kinda like what’s happening now, on a smaller scale, where millions have stopped looking for work, which helps to bring down the unemployment rate.
That and all the election season related "workers"... paid protesters, organizers, rioters and so on.
Hiring is stagnant in the Houston oil industry without a sign of letting up anytime soon.
Their (lame) plan is to spin all the Trump wins as ‘inherited’ from Zero, in the same way they’re still blaming everything they don’t like on Bush (or Reagan — I saw a pro-beggar last week with a “Trickle-Down Economy” cardboard sign).
What they don’t realize is: Americans saw through the BS about a great economy and this-is-as-good-as-it-gets from the MSM in November. Real stagnant wages and lost jobs beat out propaganda.
They’ll be equally unimpressed with the “no credit to Trump; all credit to Zero” MSM lines in four years when jobs have actually returned, foreign policy is not self-sabotage, and real improvements are made at home, not just lip service and ‘chocolate rations are increased’ lies like they got from the Zero administration.

"New Company Policy: We are not hiring until Obama is gone."
"Can't afford it," explained the employer, Bill Looman, Tuesday evening. "I've got people that I want to hire now, but I just can't afford it. And I don't foresee that I'll be able to afford it unless some things change in D.C."

That is great. Hope he’s got all his hires and jobs lined up for Jan 21!
Or some employers may have to wait until Obamacare is killed.
EMPLOYERS, Please don't place ads for NEW EMPLOYEES until January,
nor HIRE the new workforce before January 20th. Otherwise Obama will try to take credit!!
This needs to happen the first week he is in office!
I won the first round in unemployment court, so at least I'm getting that much now. I suspect the manager and HR dyke were poking around social media because they are such PC types but, of course, I can't prove it.
That’s a great sign! Thanks
Bump
He can turn it back on them by immediately adopting U6 as the real unemployment number and referring only to U6 in all future public discussion.
I’m 28 and in the middle of nowhere (thanks Army) - but I recently got a job making $17.50/hr and I cried. Because I was so happy. (Then I realized I still have a technical degree and working on another, and how pathetic the economy is, and then I got mad.)
I’ll never forget 2008, I was a junior in college when Obama was elected the first time. I was watching the results come in and I was thinking, “well, I guess I didn’t need a job..” and then 2012, same thing. I am so darn hopeful for a Trump presidency, because I don’t want to see the teenagers of today grow up to be like me (wasting their 20’s trying to stay afloat in a crappy job market).
The only people I know that are really doing well (around my age) work for the federal government. And that is sad.
More fake news from the fake news bullshi#ers.
Go Trump!
Make America Great Again!
