Green Party Changes Strategy, Will Seek Pennsylvania Recount (Through Federal Court)
NBC News ^ | December 4, 2016 | Phil Helsel

The Green Party shifted strategy in its recount effort Saturday, saying it will pursue a statewide effort in Pennsylvania in federal rather than state court.

The move came hours after the Green Party dropped its state court case seeking a recount in the battleground state, which narrowly voted for Trump. The lead attorney for the Jill Stein-led recount effort later said that the state court is not able to tackle what he called "pervasive" problems.

"Make no mistake — the Stein campaign will continue to fight for a statewide recount in Pennsylvania," attorney Jonathan Abady said in the statement late Saturday....

In all probability, they’ve been judge shopping and found the judge they want.

Not very likely. Their only option would be in the Middle District of the Third Circuit. Even there, the likelihood that they get a weirdo is only slightly better than 50-50. The US Third Circuit Appeals Court is evenly split, 11-11, but the Chief Judge is D. Brooks Smith, a Bush appointee and a very solid conservative. Samuel Alito runs the 3rd Circuit. There won’t be any nonsense.

Did you know that thousands and thousands of Muslims/Africans are massed in Tijauna, waiting to invade the U.S.?

I suspect that Dr.Jill Stein and Hillary Clinton have perpetrated a political distraction while George Soros has planned and financed an invasion from Mexico.

And there are videos at youtube.com to back up the story, too.

The Constitution clearly defines the election process are the responsibility of the state’s legislature. A judge has no say over how a state runs it’s elections

All they need is a friendly lower court judge and a quick non-decision by the 4-4 USSC and they get their recount.

[The Constitution clearly defines the election process are the responsibility of the state’s legislature. A judge has no say over how a state runs it’s elections]

How come federal judges are constantly throwing out voter ID laws then?

Also the federal mandate against some southern states since the 60’s under the voting rights act.?

Oh please. There’s a 50K spread, no evidence of foul play, and state courts won’t recount because of what state law says. I’m sure they can find some commie tool of a judge to play along, but how could it not be reversed on appeal in about 1.21 nanoseconds? Especially given the precedent from Bush v. Gore?

"Will Seek Pennsylvania Recount (Through Federal Court)"

Well that will be a waste of filing fee(s) & time in the Federal court(s.)

The Federal courts are likely to say no-no, you didn't exhaust all remedies at the state court level, now go back to state court, do not PASS GO, DO NOT COLLECT $200.00, oh, and do have a nice day!!!!!

Trump’s legal team will deal with these chumps like babes to the slaughter. Seems to me, the first step will be a lawsuit for the obstruction of an election. That should bring a huge settlement. Jill Stein is creating a black hole that will suck up everything she is worth.

I suggest they read Article III of the Constitution.

In all Cases ... in which a State shall be Party, the supreme Court shall have original Jurisdiction.

High time President Trump slapped down a bunch of black-robed tyrants.
