Dem Blame Game Rages Over Clinton Loss

Almost a month after Hillary Clinton’s loss to Donald Trump, recriminations are still flying among liberals and Democrats.

At least one prominent Clinton loyalist has turned his fire on Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), arguing that the left-winger’s challenge wounded the former secretary of State ahead of her general election campaign.

Sanders partisans, meanwhile, say that he would have been a better candidate than Clinton to win over an electorate hungry for change.

Both sides express concern that re-litigating the primary battle could be a distraction, wasting energy that would be better spent resisting President-elect Trump.

But even if all sides agree in theory on the need to focus on Trump, not everyone is ready to leave the primary in the past.

Peter Daou, the former chief executive of Shareblue, an online venture described by the New York Times as “Hillary Clinton’s outrage machine,” blasted Sanders on Twitter this week.

“I’ll be crystal clear: Bernie Sanders has absolutely no business determining the course of the Democratic Party after the harm he did to us,” Daou wrote in one tweet.

She was a loser. She “won” a rigged party primary and had all the media propping her up and she still lost. Bernie actually tested her.

Agreed. Running Hillary was the first and most important mistake. Unlikeable in the extreme and with MASSIVE amounts of legal baggage.

Bill told her she’d better start paying attention to those northern states.

Bill is sick and evil but he came across as likable, young and handsome to the masses.

I dont think she was EVER any of those.

Bernie didn’t hurt Hillary. He was a shill and dutifully ‘laid down’ when told. Got paid for it too! How’s that lake house, Bernie!

teh dems made her. the dems hyped her, the dems cheated to get her nominated, the dems tolerated and defended that cheating, the dems have only to look in the mirror to find out who is to blame.

Yeah. That little charade of running Bernie in order to make Hitlery look moderate backfired.

Somebody forgot to send Bernie the memo that the whole thing was a ruse.

The Dems have four years to position and promote new leaders. In a couple of years the new blood will emerge. Watch for it.

I think they're already pre-positioning Kamala Harris, newly elected senator from CA (replacing the retiring Barbara Boxer).

The strategic thinkers have realized that to win the presidency, they're going to need an Obama style redux. I.e., another candidate-of-color who can excite the low-info voters to come out in droves to vote for an "historic" candidate. A white woman just didn't cut it.

My prediction is the Dems will go for a woman of color. Michelle O is too dumb. But Harris is smart, and is actually a three-fer in the historic department: (1) woman; (2) half black (Wikipedia describes her father as Jamaican-American; (3) half Asian (Wikipedia describes her mother as an immigrant from India).

Hillary Clinton left four American heroes to DIE in Benghazi and lied to their families as their coffins were being carried off the aircraft. She’s Despicable and a National Disgrace as is the one occupying “OUR” White House and all those surrounding him.

I agree with your analysis. Meanwhile, I don’t expect Hillary to fade away. She can’t. She is totally obsessed with gaining power. I imagine she is plotting her comeback to power at this very moment. But the democrats can’t risk another failed attempt. And the power brokers in the party are not clueless about her health.

yeah he DEFINITELY didn’t get the memo!!!! :)

He really ####ed things up for her!

That’s why when everyone was wanting hillary to be indicted I was terrified that she might be and the yoots would turn out by the millions for the old marxist.

He was a good ally :)

And a fraud with his new home by the beach.

Thinking about the untold millions the Democratic National Socialists and the behind the scenes state supremacists pissed away on their foul crusade. Brings a smile to my face, it does.

Let's face it, a lot of Trump's triumph has to do with the fact that people are waking up to how the Democrats really see the poor

Bernie had a better shot than Hitlery. Biden had a better shot.

The dem party is in tatters because there is no bench and they are listening to old corrupt established bulls. OBAMA helped destroy it. They have never negotiated with the other side. Just a partisan orgy of “you are evil racist Republicans”. The message was far from uplifting. HRC wanted the job to shake down more people, she didn’t even have a vision. Not being Trump was not enough when the nation wanted real change.
