Just googled “Rexnord government contracts”. 31 million here, 14 million there.... pages of it. Would be a shame if anything happened to their contracts wouldnt it.

There is plenty of leverage and I don’t think the state has offered much to Rexnord.

Donald will find leverage to keep people who plan on leaving here and will change the environment so people want to stay.

Simply tweeting to call them out is another form of leverage

I don’t know what they do or make but they are certainly going to take a hit when the president of the United States mention them by name LOL. If they make a product that I would never buy it in a million years if they move. I’m sure the mainstream media is horrified that Mexicans are losing jobs in Mexico. jerk offs

I could see an executive order saying that companies which have their production outside the US get excluded from government contract work.

The thing is, in the current US business climate, these offshoring decisions by publicly held companies are responsible moves that benefit shareholders. So these companies should not be trashed. They had no way to know that Trump would be elected. Decisions to move out of the US are not made over night. And sweetheart deals for every company who announces they are leaving is crazy — of course, states and cities do that all the time now anyway, to the extent they can. Giving special deals to companies who threaten to leave would just make more companies threaten, to get the same deals.
