HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) — A Green Party-backed campaign changed its strategy to force a statewide recount of Pennsylvania's Nov. 8 presidential election, won by Republican Donald Trump, and said late Saturday night that it will seek help in the federal courts, rather than the state courts.
The announcement that it would seek an emergency federal court order on Monday for a recount came hours after it dropped a case in the state courts.
"Make no mistake — the Stein campaign will continue to fight for a statewide recount in Pennsylvania," recount campaign lawyer Jonathan Abady said in a statement issued around 11:30 p.m. "We are committed to this fight to protect the civil and voting rights of all Americans."

state law: there is no statewide recount of county votes. counties control the votes. PA maybe sometime dem. but it is very much a law state. you can throw all the votes out at the state level if you are willing to accept the $1M bond required to do it. we put the AG in jail for breaking our laws.
Stain to sue in federal court? Who will be named? Based on what?

I would think pretty much any Federal court would immediately reject such a request because the issue isn’t ripe for Federal consideration since the plaintiff failed to exhaust all possible State remedies first.
What are the real motives and objectives, and who are the key players in these recount efforts? The Left has reached an unprecedented level of insanity.
You are stupid, since the democrats declared election fraud to be an impossibility as a result of Trump's "big mouth." They're showing the country their hypocrisy, and doing the same thing they did against Bush. Only a deranged idiot would think they wouldn't contest the election results in some way. And everyone knows that the election was indeed rigged against Trump, from the major parties on down to the media. Trump won despite it all, and at margins large enough to topple the usual rat election fraud, such as the 2 to 3 million estimated illegal aliens voting in our election.
Can you extrapolate on that? My first reaction was “this person is being an idiot” ... but that’s not constructive. Can you develop that thought?

There should be no doubt she is trying to steal or invalidate the election so Trump does not get sworn in. Her cohorts are trying to recount Florida as well and flip those 20 electoral votes not to mention WI and Michigan.

That was my first reaction, too. I think it makes the plaintiff look like they are court-shopping - which, of course, they are. This is an impulsive act of desperation. They are unraveling and are powerless to stop themselves. Hopefully, the federal courts will not cater to their collective mental breakdown.

sorry ad hominem attacks are permitted here, and i’m not stupid. thank you for your opinion. i agree with your premise but, he should have not made a big deal on rigged elections. one statement that: “there is voter fraud.” would have been enough. straw man is also allowed here but, i did not say anything about the commies contesting elections.
and if you know personally that any election mechanism in any ward in my state, and here in philly, was rigged against DJT then you need to notify the Board of elections to that fact or not. If you have knowlege of a crime that has been committed and fail to report that crime? the rats in philly trumped trump at almost 500K votes and he still won the state. thank god. and he does need to grow up.
This is all to make the Trump presidency appear to be illegitimate, but it shan't be.
