A pair of Arizona-based Christian artists is challenging the local law that threatens to fine and imprison them for refusing to make same-sex wedding invitations.
Joanna Duka and Breanna Koski, owners of Brush & Nib Studio in Phoenix, lost a case at trial level which accused them of violating a local ordinance that protects homosexuals from discrimination, Fox News reported.
The ordinance also prevents the business owners from publicly explaining their convictions or even defending their decision lest they face jail time for that as well. This apparent violation of the First Amendment protection of free speech is at the heart of the case.

The judges and public officials who put Christian artists in jail for refusing make same sex wedding invitations should be indicted, tried, convicted, and sentenced to hang for giving aid and comfort to the perverted enemy.
maybe they should say what Ford said about Melania they are not “necessarily my image” just “too pricey” I am sure their invitation of that magnitude will be way over their price.
I don’t believe the SCOTUS is going to be receptive to cases like this any longer. People while be able to support or not support what they wish.
Easy to deal with these folks.
Remember all the “legalization of gay marriage will not infringe on anyone else’s life” arguments? Totally wrong, weren’t they?
If you did those things, they would still probably sue you for discrimination in addition to poor service.
How ridiculous! There is no way that idiocy could stand up to a constitutional review. But it's an example of the fascism we can expect if the Left ever gets to rule.
Embrace diversity the way we like it or we’ll beat your ass!!!
Can’t be guilty, they are using an Apple.
Discrimination is so hard to prove - I baked the cake. Printed the cards. I'd gladly refund their money - far less than the lawsuit.
Were I a business owner in Arizona, I would have a sign that read:
“We strive to treat all customers fairly and with all respect. We don’t ask anyone about their Sexual Orientation. However, if we are asked to design anything acknowledging any Sexual Orientation other than what is taught in the Bible, we will not accept the business.”
“Cant be guilty, they are using an Apple.”

I’d let that crime slip.
The 21st century version of throwing the Christians to the lions. Or like Nebukanexef throwing them in the fire. So many with much faith that “wouldn’t bend. They wouldn’t bow. They wouldn’t burn.”
off with their head
using the law as a cudgel to put forward a political agenda is a crime against the republic
if the people bringing the suit are dead, the question becomes moot
Yet liberals are proudly saying “I won’t dress/ design clothes for the incoming first lady!” and seem to have the right to do so.
Then again, the Colorado Civil Rights Commission in one week managed to vote that Christians must provide services to homosexuals because of anti-discrimination laws but homosexuals can refuse service to Christians under First Amendment protections. In short, Christian views are to be abrogated because they are based in religion, whereas liberal views are protected as political free speech.
Every liberal is a totalitarian thug.
Democrats and libs better remember, the same law can be used at against them..Especially businesses such as abortion clinics...Are you pro aborts sure you told minority women the entire truth about Planned parenthood racist past??? You are a business, should have given YOUR CUSTOMERS better service. They can sue for racism, hate crimes etc....You deal with all aspects of the public..You are obligated to treat them exactly as your ads say....”We make sure all women can make their own choices”......How can minority women make choices if you lie to them???
