Without being privy to the inner details of the Carrier deal, sounds like Sarah has a valid conservative point.
Not if she has no clue as to what the deal was or wasnt
So called conservatives have achieved absolutely nothing conservative. They have won nothing politically and nothing in results.
Obamacare defunded?
Wall built on border?
Foreign trade deficit of $800 Billion every year reduced?
Abortions reduced?
Planned Parenthood defunded?
ISIS defeated?
Less terror attacks worldwide by Islamists?
Less Americans on food stamps?
Americans earning more real wages than 2 decades ago?
Regulations on small business reduced?
National debt reduced? (IN SPITE of US Treasury taking in more revenues than ever)
Flow of illegals in country reduced?
The conservatives are ALL TALK and NO RESULTS.
While Palin is technically correct, she apparently doesn’t realize that Trump ISN”T President yet. There is no way Trump can do an across the board tax reduction for all business until after the inauguration. But, since Pence is still Indiana’s Governor, Trump can communicate with Carrier his intention of seeking a reduction in the corporate tax rate once he takes office.
From what I understand, the 7 million dollar tax break was on the table before Carrier made the decision to move. Obviously with Trump winning the election and having a talk with United Technologies CEO the business climate has changed to the point where staying was a win-win for Carrier and United Technologies.
While I have high regard for Sarah, sometimes I think her reactions are more about her than about what is best for the country.
There is nothing conservative about <1% import tariff revenues and $800B trade deficits. That situation is the result of crony capitalism.
