The W.K. Kellogg Foundation, which maintains strong financial ties to the Kellogg Company, has provided at least $930,000 in support of the controversial work of the Black Lives Matter organization.
The financing is listed on the Foundations website. It includes a June 1, 2016 grant to the International Development Exchange, which is in a contractual relationship with Black Lives Matter to process donations for the group.
The Associated Press reported the International Development Exchange, also known as IDEX, has been acting as a mostly unseen financial arm of Black Lives Matter, with the ability to receive grants and tax-deductible donations on the groups behalf.
More recently, the relationship evolved into a contractual partnership that will run through at least mid-2017, the AP reported.
On June 1, 2015, the W.K. Kellogg Foundation provided $30,000 to the Praxis Project, Inc. to support, according to the charitys website, the inaugural BlackLivesMatter Chapter Retreat.
On Tuesday, the Kellogg Company announced its decision to pull ads from Breitbart News, explaining its 45,000,000 monthly readers are not aligned with our values as a company. In response, the news agency launched a #DumpKelloggs petition and has called for a boycott of the famous food manufacturer.
Breitbart News Editor-in-Chief Alexander Marlow encouraged the boycott of Kellogg products:
The W.K. Kellogg Foundation, meanwhile, was founded in 1930 by breakfast cereal pioneer Will Keith Kellogg, and has gone on to become one of the largest philanthropic foundations in the U.S.
Kellogg himself set up an endowment for the foundation by donating Kellogg Company stock and other investments to fund the charity.

Wacka wacka.
Actually I love raw steel-cut oatmeal straight from the bin with brown sugar - it only takes 10 minutes on the second-lowest setting in the microwave. Chewy and yummy. Great for winter.
Well, well Kellogg’s put themselves under the microscope. Smart, that.
Very glad to boycott.
A fascist economy is one in which the government elites and the business elites unite in one big establishment and work together to further each others interests.
That is what America has become and it explains the business elite and their views.
Even better with apples...mmmmm
Note that this is from Brietbart. As Instapundit would say, “Hit back twice as hard.”
Between the Ford Foundation and some Soros groups, there has been over $130 million given to BLM since August 2016.
One would reasonably ask what an organization like that is doing with the money.
Many now agree it is considered “street muscle” for the liberal left.

Pu the word “black” in your name and charities will just throw money at you.
Maybe they can’t be forced to advertise, but they can be shamed about this “charitable contribution.”
I broke a tooth on Frosted Flakes once.
The only thing from Kellogg’s that I would miss are the Rice Krispies—because without them, how do you make marshmallow crispy treats?
Hmm... Cheerio crispies? Chex crispies?
Me too. I love grits, fried corn mush, corn bread in milk, and a bunch of granola recipes. Had a friend walk out in a field where a farmer was harvesting soybeans. He asked to buy a 5 gallon bucket straight from the grain wagon. The farmer just gave it to him because he, too, was interested in what my friend would come up with.
I can see doing that with wheat or corn, but I’ve never been a great fan of soybeans. :>)
American diet is heavily saturated with many various corn products, which causes a great many allergic issues, behaviorally, especially in children. Powdered baby formula is primarily what? Sweet drinks are mostly sweetened with what? Breakfast fereals are mostly made of what? Then there’s all the ______tos chips.
Cut down processed corn consumption for better health.
The definition of fascist has been so distorted by the socialists, in particular, who are afraid of being identified.
They pretend the definition is “those who attack some minority group.”
That is so far from the truth. Fascist governments have used scapegoating as a means of distracting from their gradual impoverishing of the people in pursuit of their own enrichment and elevation.
Boycott Kellogg’s and Make America Grrrrreat Again
Rotflol!
I solved the Smores problem.
Just roast the marshmallow (burned is the way I like it) and forget the chocolate and graham cracker.
I like my burnt marshmallows straight up. A double please. :>)
I used the word “fascist” as well. I get called out on it a lot, but its the most apt description there is
Collectivism and state control of nearly everything, political uniformity among all the elites, with the veneer of private ownership.
Buy the store brand.
I think you are right on the money using that word.
You use it correctly. So many don’t have a clue.
Let’s see if 13% of the population can keep Kellogg afloat.
