President François Hollande stunned France on Thursday when he announced that he would not run for a second term in next year’s presidential election.

Why would anyone be “stunned” when it was obvious he had no chance of winning? Why would he run if just to lose?

Thank goodness Sarkozy’s out of the way now too. Hopefully the French will vote for Le Pen, if only to save their country from Islamization, the EU’s elimination of national sovereignty, and the French establishment elites. Fillon though will probably win, but he would still be much, much better than Hollande.
