Trump is putting together what will be the wealthiest administration in modern American history. His announced nominees for top positions include several multimillionaires, an heir to a family mega-fortune and two Forbes-certified billionaires, one of whose family is worth as much as industrial tycoon Andrew Mellon was when he served as treasury secretary nearly a century ago. Rumored candidates for other positions suggest Trump could add more ultra-rich appointees soon.

Excellent.
They won't use their gov. positions to get rich. They will be able to totally focus on solving the problems and "make America great again".

Exactly
That is the way I look at it

Any of them rich enough to "misplace" $2B, like Corzine?

So the Wash Post is trying another hit piece, and yet it backfires.
These rich people are taking a massive cut in their pay, and this tells me they are not doing it to make themselves rich as they are already rich. No they are doing it for the country.
Nice try Washington Post, now go and find something else to try and attack him.

Of course he's going to choose rich people. They're rich because they're successful. He wants achievements. He's picking the cream of the crop.

Unlike Obama who assembled a group of ne’er-do-well community activists and failures at business, Trump is assembling a team of competent business people who know how to obtain data, how to turn that data into information, and how to analyze that information to make decisions based on facts.
The days of the know-nothings are over — at least for the next four years.

Yeah, we can't have people running things and making decisions who have actually DONE something...
All of those pointy headed college professors who were never in charge of anything have done so well the past 8 years....

Indeed. If they are rich already , then they are successful. If they are that, then it is what the country needs to lead with.
Unlike obama who chose government cronies who got rich by scamming taxpayers.

This is a good thing. They won’t have to steal money from the taxpayers to build a “nest egg.

I agree...I have managed various kinds of business all my life...some for my family and some for others.
In my opinion as a professional business manager, Trump is accessing top-of-the-line business managers whether you like them or not in order for him to evaluate those available to fill his serious positions. I would do the same...and it does not mean that he will follow their suggestions. A good manager picks the brain of all those available to him and then uses his own best judgment based on years of experience to make the best choice
