Virtually every other nation in the world punishes people for desecrating their national flags. It’s illegal in all but the most snowflaked nations.

And it was illegal in the United States for over 200 years of the country’s existence – up until a 1989 Supreme Court ruling.

But what I find interesting is that the call to ban Trump from Twitter came from several media outlets at the same time. Whooops. Seems a one Mr. Soros must have written an email recently.

"Twitter’s 317 million users need to demand that the service ban Trump for life."- David Benkof, Daily Caller

"It’s time to ban Donald Trump from Twitter."- Sonny Bunch, Washington Post

" Asked whether Twitter would ever consider banning key government officials or even the president himself, a company spokesperson responded via email: “The Twitter Rules prohibit violent threats, harassment, hateful conduct, and multiple account abuse, and we will take action on accounts violating those policies.” Pressed on whether that meant that, hypothetically, Trump himself could be suspended were he to violate those policies, a spokesperson confirmed: “The Twitter Rules apply to all accounts, including verified accounts.” - Slate

".. it would also be a fine idea to ban Donald J. Trump."- Kate Knibbs, The Ringer

Here, lastly, is the petition made to ban Trump from Twitter.

son they want him banned , because he gets around the media, and talks to the country directly.

Poor media, how must they survive this.

The fascism of the Left is no longer hidden, if it ever was.

hmm. Can’t deny making a wedding cake for a gay couple but this is fine. May I recommend banning all muslims and gays?

“Free Speech” to the left, has always meant shouting down opposing viewpoints.

We live among idiots, about 50% of the US citizens (but concentrated in large cities).

I think it would be a very bad idea to ban the President of the United States from anything.

Go ahead and ban Trump, he could start up his own website and called it ‘The daily Trumpet’.

“””After all, Twitter is a private company. It can ban anyone at any time for any reason.””’
If that was true then shouldn’t bakers be allowed to reject baking cakes for anyone they want also........but public means ALL public I would think

If twitter actually politically bans the elected President of the United States - we promise you that a competitive service will rise to the occasion to welcome him and millions of the rest of us. Twitter will suffer tremendously.

Gee, I thought only liberals appealed to foreign nations’ laws when trying to make their arguments.

After all, Twitter is a private company. It can ban anyone at any time for any reason

Right - like baking a cake... or running a B&B... private companies can do what they want, right?

Hey look, Twitter just got declared a public utility and was brought under federal regulatory jurisdiction!

(/what would possibly happen if Twitter actually followed this loser’s advice)

The telephone company is a private company, too. A case could be made to consider Twitter a public utility.

He can TOTALLY turn this around by promoting GAB the new platform as an alternative to Twitter. Get everyone onboard and take his 3 mil followers with him.

It think there’s a really good chance Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey is putting his last shots in before the Trump-led DoJ “encourages” him to resign or Twitter gets bought out by another company.
