There is some concern from scientists that the Sun could go into another long period of no sunspots akin to the famous Maunder Minimum between 1646 and 1715. If that happens, agricultural production will drop dramatically, and the risk of a real famine rises exponentially.

Thanks. I wish we could find these things on either a centrist or liberal site because every time I send things out with a conservative origin (like Breitbart) then I get snorts of disgust on the glaring rightwing bias displayed.... and can thus be safely ignored with a good dose of eye rolls in my direction.
