Lots of names are being mentioned on media. I am not sure if any of them is credible or not. Some of names being floated look troubling.
It may be that MSM is up to its old habit of influencing political decision, or played by Trump to go on a wild goose chase.

Smart, experienced guy who has served Trump well. Loyalty should be rewarded, all other things being equal.

Nice pick? How’s that? This guy has donated twice as much to the Rats than the Rs and also gave heavily to Soros funded group.
OR, is it that whatever Trump does is okay and good to you?

We’d be better off as a nation not to have Wall St and Goldman insiders as our Treasury Secretary. I don’t trust them with access to our tax money and with the power that goes with it. We need major change not same ole.

Former Goldman Sachs employee.
Former Soros employee.

I thought we didn't like Goldman Sachs bankster types who learned their craft at the knee of George Soros.
Good thing Mr. Trump wouldn't even consider nominating somebody like that to head the Treasury Department.

Exactly, VERY disappointing pick. He’s a criminal, and a high-ranking insider of the international marxist cabal. Trump’s not going to drain any swamps with this guy.

Former Goldman AND Soros guy......that's a double deep to Left field.
Amazing how Trump can revert back to his liberal leanings and his supporters cheer.
At least the Senate will approve him given he's given a bunch of cash to Schumer and the DNC.
This plus paying off McConnell by giving his wife a job tops off a fantastic day!

There is a law that the SecTreas be from Goldman Sachs isn’t there?
Dems squawking so this must be a good one.

“I thought we didn’t like Goldman Sachs bankster types who learned their craft at the knee of George Soros.” Exaggerate much?
The laws of finance are fairly immutable.
He is smart enough to recognize a winner and do his part to help.

Secretary of Treasury has been held by wall street types since the days of Hamilton. Look at the careers of Reagan’s Sec Treas. There were two Wall Streeters, Merrill Lynch and Dillon, Read.
