Pennsylvania state inmates are no longer being punished with the baked brown slabs known as food loaves.
The loaf was a combination of beans, rice, raw potatoes, carrots, cabbage and oatmeal.
The Department of Corrections has stopped giving the food loaves to inmates in restricted housing who misbehave with their food.

They could just stop feeding them for awhile.

Imprisonment IS punishment.
Have they released all the inmates?

meanwhile, the Food Loaves are now being sold to leftist ‘gourmets’ in fancy gentrified eateries in NYC SF and LA
$69 a serving, uncooked to save fossil energy and including a 50 cent donation to the HilLIARy in 2020 Campaign Fund

So now they will be sent away from the table and made to sit in the corner in a 'time out'?

What’s so awful about it? Sounds healthy.

Now, those extra food loafs can be distributed to local schools to further Michelle Obama’s school menu.
Is this a great country or what?
[The country will be getting back on track as soon as Miche and Barry are sent packing.]

The loaf was a combination of beans, rice, raw potatoes, carrots, cabbage and oatmeal. Sounds very similar to what my vegetarian in-laws ate yesterday.

The basic recipe above sounds wholesome enough, but I’m sure after they make it with prison grade institutional food and cook the crap out of it, it’s little more than a vomit loaf.

Sounds pretty healthy to me.
I don’t know how good the raw potatoes would taste, but apparently raw food is better for you.

If only I could have gotten some food loaf while I was in the hospital on my “heart-healthy” diet. I lost 26 pounds in two weeks.

Exactly.
And as Doug from “King of Queens” would say, even better “with a buttload of hot sauce.” LOL!
