Thanks to a little-noticed action of Texas Congressman John Culberson taken last July, President-elect Trump will able to cut-off federal law enforcement funding to 9 sanctuary cities, plus the entire state of California, immediately upon taking the oath of office. Brenda Walker of Vdare explains:
Because of the foresight of a Texas Congressman, President Trump will be able to end certain funding to the largest sanctuary cities plus the entire state of California on his first day as President. Working quietly, Culberson convinced the existing Justice Department to certify those cities as non-compliant with federal law, thereby making them vulnerable to loss of money from Washington.

Please make it so..,
So much win!
It’ll give LAPD the chance to do absolutely nothing.
If he was able to persuade Loretta Lynch then what’s going to happen when Jeff Sessions is in that role? The federal government cannot afford to give any money to any sanctuary cities until the national debt is paid off.
It doesn’t matter, these illegals are net contributors to our economy. Right?
Everyone needs to press this to ensure there is no wiggle room to not do this January 20, 2017.
That’s the argument I keep hearing. “So what if they’re ‘undocumented’. They’re paying taxes in one form or another.” So.
Then what happens when Lynch reads about it in the newspapers...?
Can she decide to "uncertify" the sanctuary cities...?
Thanks in advance.
Since the first group of deportations are the most violent, guess where they will be heading? Enjoy being a sanctuary citizen.
Pray America woke
Al Capone was jailed on income tax evasion. Had he paid, that still wouldn’t excuse the murders & other crimes he was responsible for.
And get this....Obama's vainglorious dream of a permanent Democrat majority didn't work out thanks to American voters. Too bad.
2016 map exhibits the Republican Party expansion.
2014 map is Congressional results when the Democrats got slaughtered.
2016 map was better than we could have ever imagined.
Be careful; they aren’t finished. They just have to move their voters around to see that the majority of votes translates into more electoral votes. The millions of additional Hillary votes in CA have to be spread around to other states; haven’t they already taken Colorado & Nevada in this fashion?
President Trump has a big decision to make: Should he cut off their funds in his first day as president, or should he wait until after the weekend and do it on Monday, January 23, 2017? That’s why the American people elected him - to make those choices in the best interest of America.

Not only will the funds for sanctuary cities be cut, the cities will have to pay back money to the federal government!

They can try.......
Nice.......
“CULBERSON: Attorney General Lynch has already notified every city and state in the country that unless they cooperate 100 percent of the time with requests for immigration information about criminal aliens in local custody, then those local jurisdictions lose all their federal law enforcement money.”
