Gift cards are very wise.

I send money to grand-kids who live far away from us.

Can’t see throwing away money on something they don’t like or want.

Gift cards for older children and presents for those who live close enough that I know what they are into, subject to change at a moments notice however.

I used to shop all year but can’t do that anymore as the grand-kids get older and harder to please.

Also, I'm a bit selfish. :-)

If I buy the gift cards at my local grocery store I can get 4 times gas points. One time I had $1.60 off per gallon. Selfish me.

Morning Granny, gift cards are the way we go, just a few keystrokes on the puter and everyone is happy!!

This year I have 2 grand daughters who are 13, and I will NOT buy anymore gifts for them. Like you said, harder to please. I think Forever 21 gift cards will do it. The littler girls are getting American Girl dolls and Barbies.
