Its not. Trump takes phone calls right now. When he becomes president he can call people. But right now its for them to call him. He is not President yet. So its not for him to call foreign leaders.

Norway gave $500 million to the Clinton Foundation, then awarded Obama the Nobel peace prize, and saw their former PM given the top spot at NATO. Maybe Trump is informed of all that.
Protocal is for them to call Trump and congradulate him. This is leftists tryingmske it appear Trump is over his head.
Exactly. Trump is a private citizen until 20 January 2017. Until then the President of the United States is somebody else. I forget the name offhand...
This is just a reporter stirring the pot. The prime minister’s office noted that a call between the two has already been set up by their staffs.
Leave aside that the Norwegian PM could place the call, it could be that Norway was a MAJOR donor to the Clinton Family Slush Fund (now, just coincidentally, reducing its donations),
Sucks to be Norway.
Here’s a hint...If you want great relations, stop taking your pet peeves and butt hurts to the press. How hard is that to understand?
