I'm skeptical myself.
Nothing new under the sun. Even in medieval times, the entertainers of the day, court jesters, tended to be light in the loafers. Back then, their political opinions didn’t mean a damn thing. That’s probably the biggest difference.
He played at one of Rush Limbaughs weddings so this is not without precedent.

If the money is right..or if he is promised something in return. Maybe he is trying to sell albums,,,uh..cds..uh..downloads..whatever they use to sell music these days
Elton John is a talented music icon and will serve to help de-fang much of the Left’s claims - along with providing some decent music.
