But that's what Social Justice Warriors do. They contrive offenses (dishonestly) to punish those who will not accept, or fight against, the preferred narrative.
For example, Reich published an article "refuting" Trump's business acumen by claiming his personal fortune would have been much greater had he only taken his seed money and invested in unnamed financial vehicles Reich claims have performed much greater than Trump's personal financial performance.
The part Reich neglects to analyze is the TOTAL profits, salaries, and financial benefits realized by not just Trump, but by those employed or otherwise benefiting from said businesses of which Trump's personal fortune is only a percentage.
So rather than credit Trump with some measure of "sharing" his success, Reich chose to use a rhetorical shell-game to diminish the significance of Trump's success.
As Reich is an Economist by training, I find it had to believe this duplicity on his part was an innocent mistake.
