Clinton is NOT winning the popular vote.
Dave Leip's Atlas of U.S. Presidential Elections ^ | 11-21-16

It looks like Clinton will come in at about 48%. That means 52% will have voted against her. She will have lost the popular vote.

Yes, thank God for our founders wisdom in creating the EC. I use my OP talking point for push back on the Clintonites.

California was always known to favor Hillary heavily so many Republicans didn’t bother to vote. Hillary won Cali by 3 million votes.

Bill Clinton won a plurality, not a majority when he ran, thanks to Ross Perot, the Independent who won 19% of the vote.

I am not going to Thanksgiving at a friends to avoid this crap, because I will just unload and tell them to buck it up.

The election is over, use your reps to fight Trump, I get that and start looking for your next president.

I want to keep them focused on the Presidency, so we can focus on getting one or two more governors, a massive increase in the House and Senate and for desert 3-4 SCOTUS.

It’s Morning in America Again...

"That is why city people are so amazed that Trump won. They never heard Trump ads. They did not see Trump rallies. Trump was very efficient. So, when I went to Chicago and told them Trump was going to win. They laughed at me. They thought I was a right winged nut. Everyone they knew was for Hillary. There was no opposition. But all the counties around Chicago and all the states around Illinois where voting for Trump. Big shock for them."

May the Butthurt be wit them Poinq. You and I saw it, I have said it for eon's he'd win. My job this election? I had cadre's of friends and relatives that I made calls and emails too, hang in their look this is what I am seeing have faith, he will win. I got a 1/2 a dozen thank you's for trying to bolster their spirits.

You and I know he won the popular, the question begs how many were illegal, dead, etc etc, probably north of 3 million, we just can't prove it.

The shocker for me was running into a L.E.O. I don't see often told me he almost didn't vote. DJT won by 15000+ in Michigan, Thank G-d my Cop friend added a +1 to that number...

Well...they’re wrong. She will not win a majority of the popular vote.

Especially if you remove multiple votes by the same individuals, and remove the votes by dead people. Not to mention the votes flipped by rigged voting machines. And remove the votes by illegal aliens. Heck, she sure didn't get a plurality of honest votes.

However, the last count i saw Gary Johnson received 4,042,291, or 3.2 percent of the total vote, and . Jill Stein’s total popular votes were approximately 1,200,000 as of Wednesday afternoon. Thus if most of Johnson’s votes went to Trump and (if even) half of Stein’s went to Clinton (as some say they would) then that would be more than Clinton’s current 700,000 popular vote victory and have given Trump the popular vote victory.

And most other opinions i have read indicate that Johnson voters would have chosen Trump if their candidate was not running.

Polls show Gary Johnson taking more support from Clinton, not Trump http://hotair.com/archives/2016/08/02/polls-show-gary-johnson-taking-more-support-from-clinton-not-trump/

So for what it is worth, which is not much, this is an argument against the “most American wanted Clinton for President” assertion.

I was just going to say that. In ‘92 he only got 43% of the popular vote, and in ‘96 he only got 49.something, which is pathetic for an incumbent president. He never won the popular vote.

It doesn’t matter and is irrelevant. That is not how we elect a President. The dems are all over this about Hillary getting 1.9 million votes.

That’s why I posted it. I use it as a push back to any claims of theirs to any legitimacy for Clinton.

Yeah, that is really not good logic.

There is no harm in saying she got more votes nationally. But he did not need to win more votes. I am confident if those were the rules, Trump would have run a different campaign.
