Jon was a major heart throb cutie in Midnight Cowboy. He is no dummy, ether, with a B.A. from Catholic University.
Fun fact: His brother, Chip, is a singer-songwriter and wrote “Wild Thing,” and other notable songs. His other brother, Barry, has a PhD in geology and is a scientist of note.
What an interesting and accomplished family ... and add Angelina Jolie into the mix, too.

Voight should have had an Oscar for his role as John Paul II in the movie of that name. So well done that people thought he WAS the pope. His daughter teased him about that. Can’t even think how many times I’ve watched it.
