A German court on Monday ruled that a group of Islamists did not break the law in forming “sharia police” street patrols and telling people to stop drinking, gambling and listening to music.
The ultra-conservative Muslim group around German Salafist convert Sven Lau sparked public outrage with their vigilante patrols in the western city of Wuppertal in 2014, but prosecutors have struggled to build a case against them.
The city’s district court ruled that the seven accused members of the group did not breach a ban on political uniforms when they approached people while wearing orange vests bearing the words “Sharia Police”.
Judges said there could only be a violation of the law — originally aimed against street movements such as the early Nazi party — if the uniforms were “suggestively militant or intimidating”, a court spokesman said. …

I don’t suppose there will be people in nice orange vests which say “Aryan Police” telling people not to be Jewish? Or at least to abstain from bagels, gefilte fish and klezmer music?
Well, if the courts won’t do their jobs, then the people will have to do it themselves; either that or submit to their new Muslim overlords. Germany needs a serious purge, starting with Merkel.
Other countries do what they want. The U.S. is governed by the Rule of Law of the Constitution which makes Sharia Law here ABSOLUTELY ILLEGAL. PERIOD.
I think someone will test this case rather quickly with the “Aryan Police” slogan. Basically...the Bundestag will have to write some law to cover this and ensure it doesn’t get out of hand.
On the other hand, the cops from this region are probably a bit peeved at what the judge did and it’s just another sign that that the cops are on one side, and the prosecution/judges are on another side.

Germany is truly lost for now at least!
Germany is sowing the seeds of their own destruction.
I wonder if they would make the same ruling if a bunch of National Socialists formed their own “street patrols” to travel around telling people how to live their lives.
It’s not illegal to be an asshole, and that includes telling people they shouldn’t smoke or drink. But then it’s also not illegal for me to tell them to go F themselves.
