I just read the Post article and was already holding my breath after hearing this rumor earlier this morning. Now that I see the quotes, and find that this bullshit is true....I am pretty much over my Trump mania. To hell with it all.

So now the Washington Post is critical of Trump for saying he won’t seek prosecution. He can’t do anything right according to them.
Please. Really? You need to get over your Hillary Clinton fetish. She is finished!! Done!! In four years no one will even remember her name. You honestly think the potential non-prosecution of HRC would be a campaign issue in 2020????

I just don’t get why so many in positions of authority are willing to overlook/enable someone who is shown to be less than legal in her activitie$.
I don’t think that most voters were gullible enough believe that he was going to keep that promise.

Doubt he can say anything one way or another right now or in the future for fear of damaging the case. It is up to the Justice Dept and Congress to pursue.

Imagine the effect of the IRS auditing the crap out of the Clinton Foundation, and uncovering ALL the bodies as a result. . . .
More Trump brilliance. He has washed his hands of it. But the FBI will still be doing its job, as will the Justice Department. When it happens, it will not have been Trump’s doing.
There is no news here. But to not prosecute the Clintons essentially validates treason by selling the country out to foreign powers for all time.
I doubt he’ll tell the FBI to stop investigating crimes because of the people involved. Or tell his AG to ignore a recommendation to indict.
Not appointing a special prosecutor to “go after her” is different from letting her off.
He’ll be able to claim that HE is not persueing the case but nobody is above the law and HE has to let the FBI do their job without interference.
We have a long way to go before he even takes office.
Does this mean that the current investigation on the Clinton Foundation is being called off? Hopefully this investigation is still proceeding, seeing as it’s a year old, and is free to come to their conclusions.
