Starbucks customers across the country have begun placing orders under the name Trump, forcing baristas to shout the President-elects name when drinks are ready.
A Starbucks employee sparked controversy earlier this month when he called the police on a Donald Trump supporter.
Operation #TrumpCup is an apparent backlash against that incident as well as other cases of discrimination against Republicans.
Its spread like wildfire across the internet, becoming a phenomenon almost overnight.
Many prominent conservatives have posted pictures of themselves participating and have encouraged their fans to join in. Some critics of the #TrumpCup movement have pointed out that its a bit weird to protest against Starbucks by buying more Starbucks.
However, Tim Treadstone one of the movements founders who goes by the name @bakedalaska on Twitter said this is not a protest but, rather, a statement of support for the President-elect.

And hope the manlets don’t pee in your coffee.
Little chance of that since they would have to sit down.
Funny idea, but I would never let a food/bev server know I support Trump. Some of them would surely do something nasty to the drink or food.
Better than “Seymour Butts.”
Wow this is stupid. I thought childish antics were the domain of the left.
Lol! This is HILARIOUS.
Or I. P. Freely.
Once the CEO said “Don’t come here if you don’t support gay marriage” I took even less of almost no business there, elsewhere.
Someone suggested we meet there down near Houston - we then took our meeting elsewhere. I was happy to not allow Starbuck’s money that day from my associate who was kindly picking up the tab.
Sorry folks but I don’t think harassing folks trying to earn a living is a good or decent thing to do — it’s the type of “action” that ‘RATS & other leftists like to take. I’m sure that not every barista is a progressive.

The ones that aren’t leftists won’t mind.
The ones that are-screw ‘em.
Sorry but this is stupid. And I don’t give Starbucks my money at all.
Yes, a better idea is to take your business to Another Coffee Place.
It’s not even good coffee. Go to Dunkin Donuts instead.
this is just funny. i named my wifi TrumpforPresident and my printer crooked hillery. I’m in the city and maybe 30 people on mt street see that every time they need to review the wifi connection.
I agree. Only went there for basically hot chocolate with some of the office guys in the mid 1990’s. Boss liked to get out of the office and have a meeting there. I’m like, hey, OK.
After that, never much at all. Probably 3 times or so to a max of 5 the next 20 years. I laughed when they had to close 1,000 stores.
Dunkin’ Donuts has some great iced coffee. I want to go there again for one. Our Krispy Kreme in that city closed. :(
But that’s not as much fun. And nobody gets to know why you’re doing that. This is a war, and like any war, psychology plays a role. Honestly, their business seems fine with many conservatives avoiding Starbucks. So I think this is fun for now — I’m sure it’ll be over shortly.

Mmmmmmmmm.......donuts!
