Trump called every other candidate out often in contradictory terms. My original candidate was Walker. He was gone in very short order. My next candidate was Cruz and by the end of the contest I was delighted he had lost and that Trump had won.
IF YOU GET YOUR PACIFIST WAY: When the Iranian mushroom rises over NYC, you will need a lot more than regrets in New Jersey to cope with the blast and the radiation. Good luck.
Trump won your vote unintentionally because you deluded yourself into imagining that Trump is a paleopeacecreep. Doesn't look like a Kumbaya crooner or an ostrich to me. BTW, I notice your all too obvious reluctance to defend your heroes: Neville Chamberlain, Charles Lindberg, Colonel MacCormack, Comrade George McGovern, Jane Fonda, et al.
Personally, I suspect Trump interviewed Mattis to see who Mattis would recommend for the Defense Secretary position. Apparently that approach to assembling a management team isn't even considered in a fetid swamp like Washington, but exceptional leaders in private industry do themselves well by using it.
I don't know why you are so presumptuous that you'd make all of those outlandish assumptions about where I stand on any given issue -- especially since my progression of preferred candidates in the GOP primary process was almost identical to yours.
