Vice President-elect Mike Pence took in the hit Broadway hip-hop musical “Hamilton” last night in New York City.
As you could imagine, he was booed when he entered the theater in the deep blue state.
But it gets worse.
The performers actually took a stance against Pence, as well.
For real.

The vice president-elect was greeted with a mix of cheers and jeers as he entered, and exited, “Hamilton.” And in between, he received a lecture from Brandon Dixon, who plays Aaron Burr in the musical.
“Vice President-elect Pence, we welcome you and we truly thank you for joining us here at ‘Hamilton: An American Musical.’ We really do,” Dixon, who also asked the crowd not to boo Pence, said. “We, sir, we are the diverse America who are alarmed and anxious that your new administration will not protect us, our planet, our children, our parents or defend us and uphold our inalienable rights, sir. But we truly hope this show has inspired you to uphold our American values and work on behalf of all of us. All of us. Thank you.”
Creator of the musical, Lin-Manuel Miranda, tweeted the following after the performance…

No its not, by July 5th there are tickets from Ticketmaster in the front rows. Early than that some seats in the upper levels. That’s on a quick run through via ticketmaster. By late February there were scattered singles in Orchestra o some days. Sold out, not by a long shot.

Went to see the Eagles a few years back, paid big bucks for tickets and Don Henley lecture the audience for about 20 minutes about how great Obama was doing, etc...
It is pure insanity that we pay for commercial entertainment and we have to sit through that kind of crap.
Haven’t listened to the Eagles since.
I love musicals that don’t offend me (I boycotted Book of Morrmon because I don’t believe in mocking religions) so I really wanted to see this one. The lyrics are good, pretty much all rap but rap about American history instead of f’ing your enemy’s b*tch. The songs are well done. You can listen to them if you have Spotify.
For sure I will never see this one now, not with this cast or production.

We’ll be going Princess in the future. Have sailed with Princess since the mid ‘80s and thought we’d give Celebrity a shot this time. So the Feb. cruise on Celebrity will be “one and done”.
Yeah. I heard about celebrity cruise. Unbelievable!
We common folks are publicly using the power of the purse in OUR boycotting (Target, Macy's, Starbucks, etal).
Our leaders should privately be doing the same. Why would ANY conservative be throwing $850 a pop at known leftists?

One Twitter poster, “Buster Brown”, I think, tried to get the word out, and it was removed from Twitter. Perhaps they’ve begun their censoring of “fake news” already. The ad is still there; you just have to find it.
I’d love to get the word out to more people. If businesses have opinions and don’t want to lose business, they need to keep quiet.
