DETROIT Ford Motor Co. had considered moving production of the Lincoln MKC to Mexico, but instead the compact premium crossover will remain at the Louisville Assembly Plant, the automaker confirmed Thursday night.
Ford spokeswoman Christin Baker said the Cuautitlan plant was the likely new plant for the MKC when the automakers deal with the UAW expires in 2019.
But now the automaker plans to build the next generation of the MKC in Louisville, Kelli Felker, Fords global manufacturing and labor communications manager told Automotive News late Thursday.
Wow, getting stuff done even before he takes office! Go Trump Go!
Trump has done more in a few weeks than Obama has done in almost 8 years to Keep and create jobs in the US.
When my wife’s Twin Turbo MKT was in the shop for a Service Bulletin, Lincoln gave her a Loaner MKC for a week.
When I asked her “How was it?”
She said “The C is for Crap”.
What lie?..............
I am confused. What was the lie?
First concrete example of the excellent results we’re going to see from President-elect Trump’s MAGA policies!
Great. now, maybe talk about Peter Shiff for Secretary of Treasure. I want to see people outside of government join the government
Media trying to say the MKC production move to Mexico was never planned and that Trump lied.
See post 10
Thanks. ..............
The lie was repeated a few times and it was that Ford had never intended to move that line in the first place.
Juan Williams was running with that lie this morning.
Mexico has a lot of the automobile production in some form or another.

Trump took credit for stopping Ford from moving plant to Mexico, but it wasn’t planning to - Sun Sentinel

Turning in my MKZ after Thanksgiving, and picking up another one. Think I’ll change the color. Last few have been Tuxedo Black. Is that racis! Lol.
MSNBC or CNN was hyperventilating this morning that Ford was keeping the same number of employees in KY as per the union contract and going on the Trump was lying about keeping production in KY.
Those channels are completely unwatchable due to their bias and hate for Trump. If I were an advertiser on those channels, I would pull out completely. As it is, I’ll avoid products and service advertised on either ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN or MSNBC.
That is NOT TRUE.
