Donald Trump has yet to arrange to speak with Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven, despite the Swedish leader sending him a congratulatory letter and the US President-elect already calling Denmarks Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen.
We have sent a letter of congratulations of course, and then the Government Offices made contact with the (US) transition team, Löfven explained in comments reported by Swedish news agency TT.
Trumps transition team has released a list of the heads of government and top politicians he has spoken with. The 29 names include European leaders like Italian PM Matteo Renzi, British PM Theresa May, and Denmarks Rasmussen.

Does anybody have any insight into Denmark vs. Sweden vs. Trump politics?
Denmark is in NATO. Sweden is not.
Maybe the idiot ought to try calling Trump
Best advice I can give you: read their newspapers. Some have English language additions, and you can use a translator on the others. Their rags make very interesting reading.
Perhaps Carl Bildt should not have shot off his mouth ... or pen.
Jeez louise...English editions.
What’s Sweden?
I know this second hand: The people of Denmark despise their Moroccan imports. They curse and spit at them in public and call them names like leeches and freeloaders. Muslims aren't a large subculture like in Sweden, and they mostly stay in their enclaves.
Danish media are allowed to mock and ridicule them, unlike Swedish media.
Who would want to talk to the leader of a government intent on destroying it’s own culture and people?
And now the guy is complaining Trump isn't calling him. LOL
Maybe Sweden should rethink their support of Hillary, their coddling of Muslims, and especially their pursuit of Assange.

Hey, me neither. I just was organizing papers and found my packing slip for my Trump hat I ordered 8/11/2015 it says. I'm expecting my call sir - you've got my number I presume.
Free Julian!
Assange might be a self aggrandizing pain in the butt; however, he has done the world a huge service in helping all of us and Trump defeat Hillary Clinton.
bummer dude.
There are about 200 nations in the world. If Trump were working a 10 hour day and doing nothing else except calling them, he could could call them all in one day if he spent 3 minutes on the phone with each call. Not likely.
A. I’m glad to hear foreign leaders want to talk to him.
B. I hope he gets around to calling all of them.
C. I hope they can appreciate that he has a lot on his plate and that they can’t all be on his to do list today.
Did anyone else notice the other story on that link? A guy that supposedly looked like Trump had his hands held behind his back and was severely beaten outside a restaurant by several men. The victim said they “looked Middle Eastern” and were “speaking Arabic.”
His response? He felt “bad” that foreign media were “leading people to believe they might be Muslim” and reiterated that he “absolutely isn’t a racist, not even after what happened, and that he is alive and it will be OK.”
What is wrong with these people??
Sweden gives out all the other Nobel Prizes, but the Peace Prize is given by Norway.
After all these years of feeling depressed, I think we're all a bit elated now, maybe even giddy.
