Dems Done In by the Politics of Hate
American Thinker ^ | November 18, 2016 | Derrick Willburn

Today’s Democrat Party spends an exorbitant amount of time preaching against “hate” and “the politics and policies of hate.” It has seemingly become the central theme of all the party touches. What the Democrats don’t realize is that they have so perfected the repeating of “hate, hate, hate” that their own message is what has done them in.

Since Barack Obama’s election in 2008 the Democrat Party has steadily drifted into this “label them all haters” territory and since that time the party has been absolutely obliterated at the polls. Democrats have lost the White House, Senate, and House. They now control just 13 state legislatures and Republicans now sleep in 33 governor’s mansions.

Yet even after the election of Donald Trump last week, Democrats continue to dutifully stick to the playbook of calling everyone (but themselves) “filled with hate.” They are name-calling the very people they want to vote for them! How’s that a good strategy?

Hillary Clinton spent the majority of the past year speaking about, running ads about, giving campaign speeches about, and focusing during debates on “Donald Trump and the Republican’s hateful rhetoric.” What Hillary and the Democrats cannot seem to figure out is that they are insulting massive portions of the American electorate by confusing common sense with hate and a rejection of their own dogma.

The vast majority of us Americans can differentiate between the two (common sense and hate). Today’s Democrats seemingly cannot.

Standing on moral principles is hate to them, especially if the principles are based on Christian beliefs.

Especially convincing clusters of collectivist snowflakes that they were hated, hence the protestors to this day...and every day going forward.

Here is a link to their website:

http://www.diamondandsilkinc.com/

They have been posting videos supporting Trump for the last year, and he has invited them on stage during a few campaign stops (lucky them!)

Surf their website a little, watch their videos, I think you will be happily amused. They are a very charming pair of young ladies!

(They have different last names, but are sisters.)

Democrats, all of them right down to relatives, are Ameriphobes.

the proper descriptive is Ameriphobe Democrats.

The language must be used to maintain the high ground. The New York times and Comcast are Ameriphobic.

They won’t regret it. Trump is a genius reaching out to them.

Absolutely. Here in Virginia Clinton got about 87 percent of the black vote by my estimation, down from Obama's 91 percent and turnout was down significantly. Trump got about 10%. It's not wonderful, but it's a start. I think he will get a lot more next time.

Some people said that the Democratic Party of 2015-2016 reminded them too much of the Nazi Party between 1928 and 1933.

Note, when I say black vote I mean the lockstep black voters in all-black cities like Petersburg, not suburban blacks who were probably a little more likely to vote Trump. I know there are exit polls for blacks but those will be inaccurate just like the media’s polls before the election.

Right-I think they never can do that. It requires objectivity and that’s an alien concept for Liberals.

They are all about emotion and subjectivity.

So, now they can wallow in their smarmy, puerile, maudlin subjectivity … while the whole world passes them by… laughing all the way!

They need to get some SUBSTANCE into their platform, and lose all their 1960’s ‘Kum ba ya’ BS. The world and the problems OF the world require S U B S T A N C E and clarity of understanding.

It’s OK if Republicans and Democrats differ ideologically-THAT’S how the system is meant to work.

HOWEVER-it’s like apples and oranges if the Democrats remain an issues and policies ‘dead letter’ because of their ceaseless coddling of immature, uninformed, ‘free stuff’ focused voters … while Republicans debate and campaign on immediate, concrete issues, ACTUAL material difficulties and incontrovertible data.

“When you are objective, you ACT… when you are subjective, you can only REACT”

No kidding! Let's take a page from the Trump Playbook and not telegraph our strategic strengths, tactics or timing. We should never advise them, even inadvertently, of anything useful.

As the Bible tells us, "Be as wise as serpents, and as harmless as doves..."

Scott Adams says that “Love Trumps Hate” is a prime example of Hillary outsmarting herself, she apparently thought it was a very clever play on Trump’s name but Adams says that people pay far more attention to the first part of a phrase than they do to the rest of it and the first part of the phrase is Love Trump so she was really telling people to love Donald Trump. If you think about it you know Adams is right, how often have you heard, “You didn’t let me finish” when someone responds to a statement while the speaker is still talking because they have heard the first part and assumed the rest without hearing it.
