Bill Ford, the Chairman of Ford Moters, called Donald Trump tonight and said he will be keeing the Lincoln plant in Kentucky- Not Mexico.
Trump tweeted the news tonight

But then I fell asleep and had a dream that a great man became President of the USA and Apple started to make the iphone in the USA again and Ford built cars in the USA and all the U.S. companies moved back to the USA to re-industrialize this country and that they all started surrendering to him even before he was inaugurated .
Then I woke up and I realized it wasn't a dream it really is happening Trump is making America Great Again and saving American form Islamization (saving Western civilization)!
This is going to be the best Thanksgiving ever and I will stand up at the Thanks giving dinner and I will give a speech saying this and also giving thanks for Trump !

I'm so estatic and so pumped and never been happier .Thank you Mr. Donald J. Trump , president elect! MAGA!
you are on ignore .
It still does not make sense, as the MKC is minor production compared to the Ford Escape, oddly barely mentioned.
No doubt. Every day it’s something else.
Yes, I’m sure they are according to articles. Supposedly they’re also bring new product to the plant in MI that is losing the assembly to Mexico. We’ll see.
Again according to articles FORD is quoted as saying no US plant is moving as in closing.
OMG... stop the Whiteness... I can’t take the winning...
Nice post.
Leave Cruz out of this. He’s part of the solution.
he spoke the truth on the campaign trail..
Fundamental transformation you can believe in.
I think people are getting something confused. FORD is not slated to move, as in close, anything. However they were planing on taking some smaller models of out of US plants to Mexico. Now the plant in KY would still have the other models that you mentioned, but lost the smaller MKZ. However, that can still cost jobs because not as many workers are needed if you stop the assembly of one or two models in one plant. Even the plant in MI which is losing the focus is not slated to close, according to FORD.
K’nay! MAGA, bros.
MAGA!
It certainly makes me think of the hostages being released after Reagan was elected. Carter was a weenie and everyone knew it, just as they knew Reagan was a force to be reckoned with.
I'm loving what we are seeing here!
Who cares the escape was never leaving the KY plant. The smaller Lincoln SUV was going to be moved after 2018 to Mexico. The plant was never in danger of shutting down due to the other models they assemble BUT losing one or two models can cost jobs. People would be laid off if you start removing one or two models out of their plant to Mexico, Even if they stay open to produce a couple of other models. According to FORD they did plan on taking that model to Mexico but now will not. They’ll leave it in KY.
Please, the Cruznadien went to NYC to kiss the ring ...
This is not WWE. Embarassed I even have to point that out to you.
The Louisville plant being talked about builds the Ford Escape and its Lincoln MKC twin. Moving Escape’s 300,000 units to Mexico while leaving the more expensive MKC’s 30,000 units in Louisville isn’t much of a victory.
The Fusion/MKZ is already built in Mexico.
Something about this story doesn’t add up.
These people are deranged. PE Trump tweet specifically mentioned their SMALL SUV. Would moving the assembly of that one model from the KY plant which makes other models have cost jobs? Who knows but less work is not a good thing, because it could snowball. Once ONE model goes to Mexico, then you know they’ll move the mid sized models next. It’s good to stop something before it starts.
Its the Lincoln MKC not the MKZ. The Lincoln MKC is assembled in KY with other models. THAT ONE MODEL’S ASSEMBLY WAS INDEED SLATED TO MOVE TO A MEXICAN PLANT. The plant which currently assembles the Lincoln MKC in KY was not ever slated to close as they assembly other models there as well.
However the Lincoln MKC was indeed going to move their assembly to Mexico from the KY plant. Not now though.
