Some members of the Black Lives Matter movement tried to profit off the death of Michael Brown, according to his father.
Michael Brown, Sr. reaffirmed his opposition to the Black Lives Matter movement while speaking at Chattanooga State Community college Wednesday, reports the Times Free Press.
While some members of the Black Lives Matter movement had good intentions, Brown Sr. said that he saw some of them try to gain from his sons death.
I call them thieves in the night, Brown Sr. told those gathered.
White Officer Darren Wilson shot Michael Brown Aug. 9, 2014. Department of Justice officials, along with prosecutors, determined that despite that hands up, dont shoot narrative, Brown tried to grab Wilsons gun. Wilson shot after Brown tried to charge him.
Black Lives Matter demonstrators marched through the streets, chanting, no justice, no peace and, hands up, dont shoot. Some of the protests turned violent, with police launching tear gas at protesters who refused to move. Rioters responded by throwing Molovtov cocktails at officers.
Brown Sr. also criticized the riots, saying that they took the focus off of the loss he and the community felt after losing Brown.
And when people start rioting and doing all this other stuff they got off focus of the death of my son and started focusing on the negativity, so that overpowered the loss that we went through as far as parents and in the community, Brown Sr. said, speaking at East Tennessee State University Tuesday.
At least two of those looters appear to be in the midst of a “wardrobe malfunction”.
Pardon me, at least three are losing their pants.......
Isn’t he the one who incited a riot by shouting “burn this bitch down!”

NO S__T SHERLOCK!
No.
I appreciate Brown’s father saying this. Perhaps some folks will listen.
His son’s death didn’t matter to the rioters. It was a golden opportunity and nothing else.
I believe Soros bused people in. I believe the media stoked the coals. I believe politicans tried to make hay off of the situation.
The attitudes of many seemed to be, to hell with the nation, I’ms gittin mine while I can. And if folks think I only mean Blacks, they are wrong.
Politicians were just as guilty as the thugs on the street.
Trump in four years will do for the Black family than the Democrats have in more than 100 years.
Name of the game, sir.
Oh. Wait. Are they still butt-hurting from being ditched by President-Elect Trump?
Eventually, all of these race baiters throw each other under the bus. We just have to wait it out when necessary.
Where were you in raising your son Brown?
Nockin’ up hookas and continuing the cycle of dysfunction and destruction in the black communities I suppose.
Community loss? Really? What did YOU do for your son, if anything...
