“Have all wikileaks been leaked even? I wonder if there is some contemporary material about this skulduggery.”
Who knows the answer to your question.
I get the feeling that we will see more leaks/releases as we move the Trump train down the line.
No, actually it does not.
There is one story by one news service and then it vanishes into the ether.
So no.
All I remember is tea party protesters being attacked for disagreeing with Obama. Kenneth Gladney comes to mind and an attack in New Orleans, where some Romney supporters were beaten by thugs, and some guy getting punched in North Carolina at a Tea Party event by some black guy.
Oh, yeah, the riots in the streets were...non-existent. There were a few racist @$$hole$ who misbehaved, and most all of US rejected their behavior.
Men were charged in the Louisiana beating and the Massachusetts church fire. The Massachusetts case came to trial -- likely racial motivation, but no firmly established connection to Obama's election. No word on how the Louisiana case was resolved.
There's a difference between mass protests which seek publicity and small scale acts of violence by perps who don't want publicity. Of course the violence is worse, but it's less likely to make the papers. The driver in Chicago who was beaten by assailants yelling "You voted Trump" was similar to the incidents the writer relates from 2008. Not much news about that in the media either.
Excellent point (though you might put the "inevitable" idea a little differently -- there's bound to be one or two violent jerks in a country of 300 million people, but it doesn't mean these incidents are common or frequent).
I am aware of at least three Trump supporters being beaten up since the election, and I saw video of two of the three, so they are undeniable (the third was also undeniable, but I saw no video). I did not see ANY of these incidents reported nationally by the MSM; it is unthinkable that these would not have been shown nationally if it was Trump supporters doing it.
That's also true. The thing about the 2008 election is the media was riding a wave of euphoria over Obama's election. They weren't going to play up the assaults then in the way that they would if things weren't going their way. So the fact that the media didn't go wall to wall on those incidents or the fact that none of us heard of them at the time doesn't mean that they didn't happen.
