Let’s dispel the notion that if Democrats only had a different nominee the world would be set right on its axis. No matter what kind of Democrat you were, it was a bad night on Tuesday. Populists Russ Feingold of Wisconsin and Zephyr Teachout (the Bernie Sanders of New York) lost winnable races. Standard-issue progressive Katie McGinty fell in Pennsylvania, as did moderate Patrick Murphy in Florida. Outsider Jason Kander succumbed in Missouri, and so did insider Evan Bayh in Indiana.
If you share an affinity with any of these brands of Democrat and believe you don’t need to reassess — wake up! Democrats are in their worst shape in terms of officeholders at the state and federal level since Reconstruction. Something has to change if we are to be competitive in elections.

It was solid in recognizing the deep trouble Democrats are facing, as evidenced in the continued loss seats in local government. It is the first step at least, to know that you have a problem, unlike some others in punditry still totally clueless.
And. Yet.
The solutions these two provided showed up in the last paragraph - "To start with, emphasize more jobs, not just fairer jobs; and achieve social progress with less social shaming."
They were saying the overall Democrat policies and platforms are the winning combination, they just need less name-calling. And they didn't elaborate of Democrats' idea of 'more jobs' (I suspect more gubmint jobs), which is a losing argument.
Well they’re STARTING to see the problems with their scenarios. They need to then dig down to the next implications, etc.
first, your D party has installed an illegal alien working for our enemies to weaken and undermine our country, for the last 8 years ...and he’s done a very good job at it, too, we have 100 million unemployed Americans while he continues to rush more and more unwanted fake “refugee” IslamoNazi young men of fighting age...into our very neighborho0ods!
and you nominated a world-class CORRUPT CROOK
those are two reasons why the D party lost. Face up to those things and help the rest of us repair all the damage we can.............and nominate loyal, qualified, decent American citizens who are not crooks.....and you will start winning elections again.
It is really just that simple. Don’t face up to the damage your party has done to our country (and working Americans now begging door to door for car washing gigs just to survive).....and you will continue to flush yourselves down History’s Toilet

The Democrats after Hillary’s loss are like the SF Giants after Barry Bonds went down - they long ago lost their identity as a team and don’t know who they are anymore. For years they’ve existed solely to prepare for, and prop up, Hillary. Many of the liberals losing their minds are not faking it - they lived solely for their witch queen and they seriously don’t know what to do now. Many of them also don’t give a damn about politics - any politics. To them all that political stuff was just to get Hillary into power. Overall, the Rats are collapsing, a shell party with no purpose any longer. And their dear leader is running for the hills.
It wasnt that long ago when Pelosi, Schumer and other RAT’s counseled the Republican’s on what was good for the party, all in the best interest of our country of course. I’m not interested in returning the favor but it would be sweet if we had one surrogate to go on the Sunday shows and take the same tact - suggesting what the Democrat party needs to do to improve itself and ingratiate itself with the country - imagine the responses!
Even the extreme leftist admit it. Biggest landslide in modern American history!

This would normally be the recipe for a country getting stricken by a curse... last verses of Old Testament.
God didn’t do that. God gave America a blessing, even if a large segment of America isn’t READY for that blessing yet.
But God looks forward too, with infallible foresight. I don’t think God would give a blessing without there being people who will be ready, if not already ready, to receive it.
Notice they’re not playing that “oh, we were the Republicans of old, but they switched with the Democrats in the Civil Rights 60’s” game now.
Because the large picture has been forced upon their eyes.
If Dhimmicrats could actually fix something, they would fix something they control - like Chicongo, Baltimore, St. Louis, Newark, etc. They have controlled some of these cities for generations.
Let them show how their policies work in Detroit or Chicongo, and then roll them out to the rest of the nation.
Oh, wait, they have rolled those policies out, but they are failures.
The demorats have promoted a muslim Marion Barry to the presidency. Turns out the smell of BO was far worse then they thought. Using the African model, you get an African society with crime against white Americans seen as some kind of a virtue.
It’s a start - but I don’t think they’ve thought it through yet. The party is destroyed. Their causes are left naked and vulnerable. Everything they think they’ve won over the last 8 years will be washed away...and turn 180 degrees in the opposite direction. Heads are going to be exploding for four years on issue after issue.
If I were in the EPA, IRS, DoEd, PP, etc. I would start looking for a new job. If I was part of “her” campaign I’m already looking for work. The Wikileaks exposed your back stabbing on each other. They have no leadership, it must be causing levels of infighting like we’ve never seen. If the lobbyists leave too, or are rendered irrelevant via tax law, the money dries up too!
You could literally white a book about the consequences to everything democrat, past, present and future. It’s more like an earthquake rippling through time.
YOur post is excellent. You can lead a jackass to water and the fountain of truth, but you can’t make the jackass drink. Being stuck on stupid is in their genes.
