Senate Armed Services Committee Chairman John McCain issued a sharp warning Tuesday against the prospect of reset in U.S.-Russia relations a day after President-elect Donald Trump engaged in an extensive phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Mr. McCain, who switched back and forth between supporting and criticizing Mr. Trump ahead of last weeks election, said in a statement that he distrusts Mr. Putin, and the idea of pandering to Russia will come at a high price for U.S. interests in the Middle East and beyond.
With the U.S. presidential transition underway, Vladimir Putin has said in recent days that he wants to improve relations with the United States, Mr. McCain said. We should place as much faith in such statements as any other made by a former KGB agent who has plunged his country into tyranny, murdered his political opponents, invaded his neighbors, threatened Americas allies and attempted to undermine Americas elections.

Thanks AZ! We have to deal with this POS for six more years.
C’mon actuarial tables and natural causes!
What the hell are our interests in the Middle East other than Israel? If we use our own oil, what else do we need overy there, sand?
The turd speaketh.

Eat it, McDemocrat.
I never listen to Saudi Property.
So good people of Arizona who elected this autocrat
You want to continue the Cold War and send US forces to challenge Russia over SYRIA while pretending to bomb ISIS which McCain helped to create and support?
Hmmm?
Maybe your Senator needs to hear from you
Isreal is a HUGE FACTOR in the Middle East!!!
Have pity on Johnny, he is still upset that his candidate lost.
Traditionally when a person uses the word, “Establishment” and “War Monger” casually, he’s a big-time leftist:
NOT TRUE ANY MORE.
Re : #19 ~
*Hey Juan, you lost your chance to be El Presidente.
Donald Trump doesn’t need the advice of a senile old fart who refuses to let go of power and RETIRE. Get lost.*
Exactly!
John, go back to the Hanoi Hilton. There is a room waiting for you.
Putin may have been truthful when he said he wants relations between the two countries to improve. But even if he was not telling the truth Putin is not the first human being to tell a lie. Obama said that he hoped Trump would succeed which is a lie. Trump said Obama was a nice guy and he welcomed his advice yada yada yada
All politicians lie. In fact people lie all the time. “Honey your hair looks great (God she cut it too short and looks like a dike)”.
We tried. He won his primary ($$$$$$$$$$$). I voted against him the general, as I did in 2010.
...and that goes for butt buddy Lindsey "Jock" Graham too.
I wish this clown would get so angry he stamps his foot too hard and winds up like Rumplestilzkin.
Mr. McCain, don’t go away mad, just go away.
McCain has always been a war hawk.

I place MORE trust in Vlad’s words that your words, Jack...
John McCain is a dangerous war mongering psychopath that is overcompensating for something.
We do not need to be fighting both Fundamentalist Islam and Russia at the same time, especially for reasons other than our national interest.
If Merkel wants to refight the Eastern Front of WW2 in the Ukraine she can do it without our blood and treasure. What is our dog in that hunt?
Where’s the barf alert?
Our interest in the Middle East should be the Jews of Israel and the Christians of Syria, Lebanon, Iraq...and elsewhere.
