Seriously. That alone should disqualify him, like illegal adoptions SHOULD HAVE disqualified Justice Roberts. If his mother, as a neighbor said, lived as a Canadian, voted in their elections, etc, and never bothered to get him his American citizenship until he was 16 years old, it does mean that at one time in his life he entered the USA as a Canadian. Worst part of all that, since none of that is his fault, is that he is DISHONEST and ARROGANT about those pure and simple facts. I don’t think he could be fair ruling on illegal immigration issues. He can’t even be straight about his own immigration issues.

Hi Rita, I’m replying to Sontagged through your post, because he asked a question on a different thread, which you basically answered. Why do this Cruz supporters hang on so tenaciously ? Because they are Evangelicals,and when a Pol has a little fire& brimstone and wear it on their sleeve, these people won’t let go for nothing. My personal feeling about Cruz, is the same for anybody, there are certain requirements that need to be met, show your damn records. I mean really, who the hell seals their records.
It would help if one of his hookers would take her expense account receipts to the Nat’l Enquirer, THATS what would help.
I appreciate your reply and certainly concur. I must say, throughout history, many hucksters have taken certain Christians for a ride. Many of them are taught so much of prophecy they begin to see a prophet and king in any political science major who comes along, if he or she can rouse them with soaring rhetoric and toss out scripture pictures of empowerment.

I never liked Cruz, even last year there was something that just gnawed at me (like Beck). Hubby liked him and it was hard for me to watch my husband’s disillusionment of Cruz as the primary wore on. Now he can’t stand him and has no trust in him to be honest at all.
No trust in a man to be honest who has never been proven to have told one lie? That makes no sense.
This bothers me. Donald doesn’t owe Ted the time of day, after how Ted conducted himself during the primary and at the convention.

Maybe this is a head fake, Cruz thinking he is getting AG or SCOTUS and instead offered a small, insignificant role or Ambassador to his home country of Canada.

He was the one doing the lying, not being lied about.
The Carson lies he blamed on his staff. His direct quote was “I wasn’t dishonest, it was the people I hired”. Sane people know full well you don’t do that in a campaign without the bosses ok - he was trying to keep his hands clean.
What is insane is that people are still defending his dirty tricks.
