Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) — a.k.a. “Lyin’ Ted” — was spotted visiting Trump Tower on Tuesday...

A Cruz spokeswoman released a statement about the visit.

She said Cruz, who ultimately backed Trump, was there visiting with President-elect Donald Trump to help him achieve his goal: to “drain the swamp...”

Trump will be giving him a Ticket to Lake Tahoe so he can do a little fishing.

Maybe Cruz initiated it in an attempt to suck up. It would by typical Cruz.

As much animosity as I have for Cruz, I do somewhat agree he might be a good choice for the Supreme Court. I think many of us leaned that way until he imploded.

I used to be a strong T. Cruz supporter. But then he turned creepy. He actually blamed Trump for Chicago violence, making me wonder was he just lying to hurt Trump or was he this out of touch with reality. Then there was the juvenile antics at at least one of the debates that showed his total lack of maturity. This was followed by bizarre statements that made me wonder about his state of mind.

It saves time.

Now that's funny. Great line.

He had me fooled for several months. I was able to find a post from late September 2015, saying I wanted Trump/Cruz, Cruz/anybody (good), and Cruz on the SCOTUS after that.

By October I had pegged him for what he was. I withdrew my support, said I could no longer back him for anything.

He proceeded to prove me right over and over after that.

I admittedly have a huge bias due to his origins. Ted’s omissions of truth and deceptions regarding his lack of qualification to be president is not forgivable.

As an AG, Cruz would find a drama a day to get his face on camera. NOOOOOOO!

Give me TREY! He’s not, at least, an ambition freak.

Yes, that Chicago violence issue really got to me. There Ted was backing up the Leftist press and their narrative. What an ass hat clown.

I think that’s a perfect time to gain points by putting aside the competition and backing your opponent. Ted couldn’t take the high road there, and that revealed to what extent he would twist things for personal advantage.

That to me was a GOPe tactic. He was willing to do anything to get the nomination, even betray truth and values.

Stop with the “Cruz the only Conservative” lie. Seriously, he showed his true colors and they weren’t pretty. There were more honest conservatives who ran but no one could have beaten Hillary.

Honesty?? the only honest candidate?

What have you been smoking? Cruz lied, schemed, and played dirty tricks then claimed clean hands by saying it wasn’t him it was the people he hired (who did it with his permission at a minimum). At best is shows Cruz has zero discernment. At worst he is the liar of liars on par with Hillary.

I trust Donald but hope to God that he shows Cruz the door.

Trump would be insane to appoint Cruz as AG. You weren’t serious I hope?

Jane, you are right ON, and have a cooler head than me.

Cruz, for me, is like Fatal Attraction. He will just keep rising until put away in the Supreme Court.

He’s got the rubes on the Christian Right who thought he was the Second Coming and who will still let him ride their backs again, to go pick up his check from globalist Goldman, Blondy’s employer.

But, yes, Cruz is small enough to hurt the Court and the country on cases against high finance, and rule on cases as a contrarian, against those of us who dropped him on his head and went for TRUMP. Certainly, nasty Theodorable would rule against TRUMP.

Cruz only ‘supported’ Donald (I use the term loosely) as much as he did because he was hoping to save his career. No one really likes Cruz and I can see why

Except they are no longer friends. Beck couldn’t handle Cruz trying to save his own behind.

That’s my take as well.

I don’t really like seeing him that way, but it was Ted who made me see him this way.
