The security firm PacketSled announced on Sunday that it has put its CEO on administrative leave after he threatened to take out President-elect Donald Trump with a sniper rifle.
Feel lucky that much happened. Now if it had been obama he was referring to [threatening] he would have been locked up before the article was printed.Everything that touched obama needs to be gotten rid of. And since that is not going to happen, it will be more of the new boss is the same as the old boss.
My understanding is that the company is private, so no need to worry about retail investors...
He won’t be the CEO of anything by the end of the week.
“No visit from the Secret Service yet?”
The “visit” is “scheduled” for January 22nd! I just imagine that the SS, like a lot of agencies can’t wait to start doing their jobs for a worthy president.
He’s the founder, the administrative leave is a smoke screen he wrote himself. Unless the secret service steps in you can now threaten to kill the President with amazing details and even post that you dare the Secret Service to come get you and nothing will happen. It’s a lawless country ...
The should-be reinvigorated SS should be speaking with him (or already has) right now. There hasn’t been enough time to let the statute of limitations are in effect. I expect to hear his ass being convicted and in prison after January 20, 2017.
He’s the founder of the company, and likely wrote the PacketSled announcement.
So... this is a cyber-security firm, not a physical security firm.
So.... This guy is probably a computer geek, and probably never even held a real sniper rifle.
Nonetheless he needs to have real legal consequences for his threat.
>>he is the founder and ceo
Someone put him on admin leave. Those someones can probably do more than that.
So, now he’s on the roam and with no supervision?
“WHY would anyone want to invest in a company whose CEO is this unstable and reckless?”
The potential investors don’t know even with their due diligence. And besides most CEOs of a startup are a bit unstable and reckless - in other ways.
If you notice, they’ve only raised 5 million for their series A which was secured July 2016. I don’t recognize their lead investor.
Not necessarily. He could have said that himself to try to stem the outrage.
I think we can assume Packetsleds relationship as a CIA contractor
will come to an end soon after January 20th.
Hank you for posting a title without using all caps!!
I suspect he as some “substance” problems. Just a wild guess.
The scumbag is a national security threat.
Reading my mind.
