Civil rights groups, Democrats and some Republicans on Monday denounced President-elect Trump’s decision to appoint Stephen K. Bannon to a top White House position, warning that he represents nationalist and racist views that should be rejected by the incoming president.

CNN has been hammering on the outrage, calling Bannon a racist, white supremacist, etc., and trotting out ADL, SPLC, and CAIR to prove the point.
This really comes out of left field to me, Bannon? Trump should just ignore them, Bannon knows how to win.

So just out of curiosity, how many people here would feel all unified if Hillary had won and she had given such a speech? I'm guessing not many, so why bother going through the motions? People who voted against Trump aren't going to change. People who voted for him don't need to be unified.
