Can Donald Trump should he choose just get rid of Ryan as Speaker of the House?

No, unfortunately. The House and Senate select their own leaders and the Executive (President) has no say. Two separate branches of the federal government.

Ryan is real slime in my opinion, and I wish he had been defeated during the election. But the leadership elections in Congress are this Tuesday, I believe, and we have not heard of anyone who will be opposing Ryan for Speaker. Sigh.

I just watched some interview with Ann Coulter, and she said there wouldn't be some deportation force either. They'd just let ICE do its job.
