Was wondering if a Tsunami had formed.

Dunedin - Felt like three rumbling shakes of around equal length and an equal sized 'gap' between them. Desk shook reasonably noticeably.
Palmerston North - Nothing was damaged, the street lights went off though.
Palmerston North - Mirror swung, doors swung open and shut. Lamp rattled and flickered. Things rattled on shelves. Walking a bit diffciult, floor swaying.
Hamilton - Long rolling movement.
Invercargill - Building was creaking, got out of bed and the feeling was like being dizzy. Went on for 5 minutes.

NZ is reeling at the thought of Leftoon just-us Ginsburg retiring there.
Son and Daughter-in-law are there (Christ Church) on business and holiday time right now. Prayers for all who are there.

An old friend went thru the good friday quake in Kenai, Alaska as a kid, he was watching the Flintstones and the TV BOUNCED off the stand it was on and so he ran to the door and he saw all the pine trees slap the ground first one way then the other!

Hmm, there’s a vast open stretch of ocean between NZ and our west coast, very deep as well. If conditions are just right this could be, to paraphrase Trump, HUGE! Alli those Cali Libs should head for the mountains. On second thought, they’ve already screwed up Colorado so don’t want any more of them in the mountain states. So, Calie boys and girls, stay put, the government will take care of you, heh heh......
