GOOD NEWS! Trump-Basher Paul Ryan May Not Have 218 Votes for Speaker
Gateway Pundit ^ | Saturday November 12, 2016 | Jim Hoft

Posted on 11/12/2016 11:07:53 AM PST by GilGil

Paul Ryan spoke out against Republican nominee Donald Trump ALL YEAR. Ryan announced in October he was pulling his endorsement of Donald Trump. He held a separate press conference to tell reporters he would not campaign with Donald Trump.

Paul Ryan cannot be trusted. He is loyal to the elites and not the people.

Paul Ryan is pro-amnesty, big government, pro-TPP and anti-American worker.

Donald Trump won an historic election on Tuesday winning 306 electoral votes.

But Republican lawmakers do not respect their base. They are voting this coming week to reinstate Paul Ryan as speaker.

But Republican Rep. Tim Huelskamp says Paul Ryan may not have the votes to keep the gavel.

Rubio, Hoeven, McCain and Murkowsky were all re-elected after voting for Gang of Eight.
They should have been run out of office.
In 2018, Heller, Flake, Corker and Hatch are up and they all voted for Gang of Eight.
Let’s get to work now to Cantorize them.

Ryan is a backstabbing weasel and it would be foolish to keep him as Speaker.

Didn’t he actually give Obama more than he asked for? I seem to remember something like that.

Until we purge the GOP-e of these spineless bureaucrat insiders, we are never going to get the government we need to restore our lost rights and freedoms. It is up to their voters to wake up and make that happen and Primary these people out of office and elect conservatives who will set things right.

Until then, we are just replacing one bum with another.

I will say this: they have never faced someone like Trump. They will NOT be able to cower him, slow him down, or change his mine. Whoever the Senate and House leaders are or committee chairs are, Trump is going to drag them all kicking and screaming to fill every item of his platform and woe to those who oppose him firmly. You can bet he will be to to Twitter and call out all the GOP that are opposing him and holding him up, and that will cause a landslide of phone calls to that idiot.

They are going to see the light, because Trump is going to make them feel the heat.

Since it is resumption after recess, and not yet the new Congress, it may not be all that interesting. The new Congress in January at least has a chance to balk at the leaders nominated by the outgoing Congress.

Perfect description of what I saw as well.

Paul Ryan, sitting next to Trump, looked liked the greatest weasel of all time.

Ryan had some good ideas. He just aligned himself with the wrong crowd.

Ryan is actually pretty effective (even against a Dem majority - he blocked many things) and Trump would be a fool to dump him.

What did he block?

I think after his sh*t eating kiss up grin this week Trump realized he was untrustworthy. He made my skin crawl. There is nothing good about him.

Right on Right on. My Congresswoman would not say one way or other about supporting him ( I know that she would ) so again this yr I voted against her. Sorry, Mimi but your go along - get along is now passé.

Were Mr. Trump to go along with a continued Ryan speaker ship, could he EVER trust him to not someday stick a fork in him?
Ryan has proven himself to be a globalist and a schmuck.

Right now I am ok with whatever Trump decides. He knows what he is doing. Let’s see how he plays this out.

...Paul Ryan is pro-amnesty...
And, there is no coming back from that!
(Just ask Jeb, Marco, and Kasich).

Ryno ryan is married to a Leftist, even better.

Ask Cruz. He has a CFR wife.

Because we need more Muslims pouring in.
Your meaning is clear, and nobody on this thread who does not have open borders as their primary goal thinks you mean anything different.
