Now that he’s President no more fun. Sad but true.

Sure, but is going to a UFC fight at MSG really an event he needs to attend or can he watch the fight another way? Gotta pick your battles.

Good question. I don't know. I think his going to the UFC would be an awesome to reinforce that he is a man of the people. The cool factor would be high. But is it too much of a security nightmare? I don't know.

What a bunch of snowflakes I'm hearing!

If President-elect Trump wants to go, let him go. The SS can figure out the logistics.

He tells them where to go, not vice versa...

He MUST go. This is how he bypasses the elites and speaks directly to the People.

Ah, but then, if he was killed, the media would claim that the assassin was a crazed right-winger, who missed Billygoat and Bernie, and ‘accidently’ hit Trump instead. Soetoro might try to use that event as an excuse to hold onto power, or even have a ‘new’ election, where Helly wins, the second American coup.

No, this is one event he needs to skip! The left is seeking ANY way to stop the turning over of power. Until the Inauguration, I believe he needs to keep safe. After all the leftist rage subsides, THEN he needs to vet his appearances carefully with the SS.

I don’t mean to compare Trump to royalty, but there is something similar. Once an English king was anointed, he was seen as belonging to the country. And vice versa.
His body was no longer his own, going out alone was frowned upon, he had bodyguards, duties, etc.

And:

1 Corinthians 7:4;
Parallel Verses
New International Version
The wife does not have authority over her own body but yields it to her husband. In the same way, the husband does not have authority over his own body but yields it to his wife.

He’s not sworn-in yet but should be careful, esp. now. There are a lot of dangerous screwballs out there. For examples, Travis Bickle and Rob Reiner.

Things are too volatile right now——he shouldn’t go.

I tend to agree, but he has the right to do what he wants. I am just as concerned about protestors causing havoc at such an event as I am about his personal security.

Listen to the Secret Service

Hillary wasn’t dressed in body armor from head to toe for nothing

Try to avoid letting people know you will be at events like this in advance. Need to know only.

Forget the “cool factor”. Only people that are really not cool, like obama, need others to give them legitimacy. Trump is a serious man of substance and any coolness that emotes from him is strictly self made!

There are many people that will be seriously looking for opportunities to kill him from now until his term ends. He knows we need him to get an important job done and will not endanger that.

He either does not attend and that goes a long way toward establishing his decorum as President, or he does attend and proves he's as bad-ass a man of the people as Andrew Jackson and Teddy Roosevelt.

Dang. This is a tough one...

He doesn’t have to prove anything anymore. It’s just prideful to try to do so at this point.

I guess they don’t want the President elect to knock out all the fighters.

I think he should bow out with a video message saying he will miss being there but did not want to inconvenience the fans because of his be security requirements. Have it played at the event.

I certainly think he needs to follow the Secret Service’s desire for him to stay home. We cannot afford to run any risk of losing him. Right now he is the USA’s greatest asset (hope). I can’t believe I said that, but it’s how I feel.

They should not announce in advance where he is going, but simply go there and secure it so he can sneak in and out. Maybe a bullet proof glass booth? like Obama uses. Secret Services probably needs fumigated.

Lincoln had just gotten re-elected, ended the Civil War, and was assassinated by a fanatic. Mr. Trump, for all our sakes, please don’t go.

You’re right-but it is a sad comment on our society that a president or president elect can ‘t safely attend a sporting event because so many f’ing psychos think nothing of behaving violently, even willing to commit murder when they don’t get their way, or want to be noticed-JFK paid the price, and RR narrowly escaped it-nothing like that needs to happen again, ever...

I don’t think he should. Too many crazies out there right now. The left is in total melt down now.

Use the same premise Trump has mentioned on numerous occasions about not announcing to the enemy we are coming 4 months in advance. He needs to use the same tactic as the military.
