So do I. Pence was 100% loyal as VP candidate, even when the coup attempt that would've benefitted him was afoot. He's been in the HOR; Christie hasn't been inside DC politics. Add to that, Trump's a realist and a true patriot. It seems that Trump might be setting up a structure that Pence is very comfortable with. It doesn't matter how healthy Trump is. That's the prudent thing to do when a 70-year old is taking on the responsibility of being President for four years.
Yup. Trump made a good choice with Pence.
I would think Trump will act as a CEO building out the Org Chart - instead of acting like a career politician filling seats based on favors owed.
I also do not see Trump setting the VP position as somewhat ceremonial (as Biden’s role seemed to be). Rather, I could see Trump thinking through Pence for succession planning.
Or maybe I’m just over thinking this - but sure as hell glad to be in a position to do so!
