I don’t want Trey Gowdy. He does great sound bytes. No results

I am proud that Donald Trump is my President, but I wish someone would take his Twitter account away.

Mr. Giuliani told CNN on Thursday that he might accept an appointment as attorney general
Might? I saw him earlier on FOX News and he was chomping at the bit.
Could barely restrain his enthusiasm. He wants Hitlery - bad.

I wonder what opinion Gowdy has on the pardon issue is? I kind of disfavor Giuliani because he believes presidential pardon powers are absolute. That is still to be resolved, imo.

Interesting that Trump now picks two conservatives, Pence and Sessions and he jettisons the RINO Christie.

Lordy, I hope they do NOT consider Jamie Dimon!

Sorry to go a little off topic here but can anyone tell me what type of motorcycle Pence rides? Web searches were no help.

This is Pence’s wheelhouse, let him roll. Good idea to take Christie out of the limelight for a while although I still hope he has a big role. The transition period needs to focus on putting a new government together not being drawn off with distractions.
That includes the likes of Rush, Levin, et al who will be sniping from the sidelines and second-guessing every decision.

Sounds like he's easing Chris Christie off to the sidelines.
Not that that's a bad thing. I appreciate his support of Trump but past history shows me he can't be trusted. If the election went the other way, he'd probably be giving Hillary a bear hug right about now.

My advice for Mr. Trump - finally, after almost two years of constant campaigning, take a week off.
You have an excellent second-hand in Pence. A better choice could not have been made!
seriesly!!

LOL! The NY Times, the oracle of all things journalism, had to correct itself because it DID NOT KNOW WHAT STATE Jeff Sessions represented!

Pence is the right choice. The VP doesn’t have a constitutional responsibility except presiding over the Senate. Giuliani will have his hands full assuming he gets Attorney General.

If true, I REALLY like the fact that Trump will be using his VP in an important role. I always thought it was stupid to waste the talents of the VP, assuming of course a President had the self-confidence to pick a good one.
No doubt none of Trump’s corporate VP types were purely ornamental.

The media is happily diving into speculation and breathlessly reporting this as chaos inside the Trump team. This is how it's going to go from now on - any move that is made will be criticized and looked at as a potential 'gotcha' moment for a misstep, no matter how small. Like it's been said, when democrats are in power, the media is the defense team, when anyone else is they are the prosecution.
