New Balance shoe owners are throwing away their sneakers or lighting them on fire to protest after the company reportedly voiced support for President-elect Donald Trump. After Trump's stunning victory, a spokesman for the company told Wall Street Journal on Wednesday: 'Frankly w/ Pres-Elect Trump we feel things are going to move in the right direction.'

For clarity, New Balance says their remarks only pertain to TPP not any other Trump policies, just in case you get the urge to go shoe-shopping.
NB makes some really great shoes, incidentally....

Yes they do, especially for guys like me, with oversized, overflat feet. I’m one of those short people (5ft 8in) who has very big feet (size 14!). Zero arches, unfortunately.
I put my order in yesterday and then liked and shared the NB site on FB just to get in the libs face. Working for IT, I have a lot of former co-workers on my FB site that are flaming libs! :)

Same here. Agree they are best shoes. Memo to self: buy another pair of NB shoes.
