People are frustrated, people are just really sad and shocked, said Trey Boynton, the director of multi-ethnic student affairs at the University of Michigan. A lot of people are feeling like there has been a loss. We talked about grief today and about the loss of hope that this election would solidify the progress that was being made.
There was a steady flow of students entering Ms. Boyntons office Wednesday. They spent the day sprawled around the center, playing with Play-Doh and coloring in coloring books, as they sought comfort and distraction.

And THAT is a BIG reason why higher education today is insanely expensive...these bureaucrats filling positions which DID NOT EXIST 25+ years ago, have to be paid, and quite often very well!!!
As bad as Pearl Harbor was, I think decades of being on the brink of nuclear was pretty frightening for kids. And the only couseling we got was “get under the desk!” I remember seeing missile launches from Vandenburg and thinking the war had begun.
This is why Trump won. Because of wusses like them.
“the director of multi-ethnic student affairs “
Cut their budget by 1/3. If this position still exists cut it by another 1/3.

What a bunch of anti-Christian, sexist, racist bigots. They see a white male Christian and they need to cry and protest.
Yes! I remember being a child in the ‘60s and having drills where we had to “duck and cover” under our desks. As if that would really help LOL!
It was a very scary time.
Take care, FRiend!

“The Administrators need to be terminated for turning these Institutes of Higher Learning into NURSERY SCHOOLS. What are they teaching these students? Pathetic.”
The “experts” say we need brilliant minds for a high-tech society...so WHY are we importing low-skilled immigrants and churning out mis-educated childish dolts with useless degrees????? Rest assured, the Chinese and South Koreans do NOT have “safe spaces”!!!!
Since my first vote for president in 1976, my GOP candidates are 6-5. In that time, I never rioted, missed work or school, cried, primal screamed, needed play doh or a coloring book. But that’s just me.
Guess they really meant it.
Oh, really? What sort of "progress"? The "progress" that resulted in this?

Dear God, just put them out of their misery. If that's the nation's future, the nation doesn't have one. Consider the past, circa 1860, and the riders of the Pony Express:
Wanted: Young, skinny, wiry fellows not over eighteen. Must be expert riders, willing to risk death daily. Orphans preferred.
No mention of Play-Doh. What they did have was a revolver and a sack of mail. That built America. The puffy nonentities whimpering in the UM safe spaces would happily watch it fall to ruin and whimper when the Play-Doh dries up.
Play-Doh and coloring books? Sounds a little advanced for them.
Only “PhD” most of those kids will ever see:

I laughed at this, but really it’s pathetic. I can hardly believe how spoiled and delicate this generation is. What will they do when they have a real problem?
I would think some small blankets and pacifiers for those who no longer suck their thumbs would be helpful as well.
They have weak parents. Period.
Not only that, I believe some of their parents are beta people.
OMG!!! I was sure this was satire and I was going to bust everybody for buying it
So I went and read the full story ...its true, its true?, its true!....
Dang, I thought it was the Germans.
When I was a kid I always wished I had been born some other time because I was always worrying about Russia bombing us with nuclear bombs. I remember getting under the desk for drills thinking it wouldn’t do any good.
It was a scary time and I think contributed to the hedonism fad of the 60’s as in “why not live it up we are all going to die soon anyway.” Then again the 70’s had an even worse horror....disco.
Take care FRiend.
