This clown CEO obviously needs to suffer the consequences of being a sore loser. He obviously puts his own mental incompetence above the livelihood of his employees by telling them to resign because of their constitutional right to support a Presidential candidate of their choice...obviously he got some very poor legal advice.
Pssst — what if a bunch of investors suddenly short the HELL out of his stock?
See #18.
It’s not logical, it’s the law.
BTW, CNN has said (almost) publicly they only hire Dems.
What is a GrubHub?
Those employees need to seek council on how to get fired properly.
Hostile Work Environment?
Never heard of them, but certainly won’t consider doing business with them in the future. Run by hate filled, intolerant libs.
It’s a company that’s being promoted on this thread. You’re supposed to call them, email them, google them, and do whatever else you can to increase their exposure. If anybody were to devulge who they are, it would cut into their advertising.
that too
Retaliation for exercising a right is always illegal.
Uninstalled their app...they didn’t have any restaurants in my city anyway.
Sorry. I forgot some folks don’t know how to access Facebook. Here’s the link.

“I think that firing someone for exercise of their right to vote would constitute illegal grounds for firing.”
Yeah, pretty sure that’s right. This guy must be a complete moron.
Sorry, but that is not legally correct. Discrimination is illegal only for certain named “offenses.” Race, color, creed, nation of birth, gender, disability etc.
I can fire and/or not hire any person or group of people as long as they are not in a protected class. I can refuse to hire red-headed people, land-handed people, liberals, smokers, Michaganders, Dems, etc.
Telling them not to vote likely wouldn’t do it, but telling them to commit voter fraud and firing them if they didn’t definitely would in most states I’m aware of. That’s really about it as far as this issue is concerned.
As a further example, I could fire/not hire anyone who was, or was not, an NRA member or a CCW holder, or a vegetarian.
Just left them a big F Y on their Facebook page
A “Hostile Work Environment” is usually legal table pounding.
Employees use it to break contracts, but generally suing for a HWE is a legal non-starter,.
My bet is that the board members will quietly meet by this weekend....discuss this guy’s mental state, and just give one opportunity to take a month off at some rehab unit.
By his action....he’s merely opening up all kinds of legal challenges by employees let go and if dragged into court....the company will have to pay them off (probably into the six-figure range for each person). If you were on the board....you cannot allow this type of individual to stay and contaminate the company in such a manner.
