Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich slammed Republicans who refused to back Donald Trump during the general election as "whiny, sniveling negative cowards" Wednesday night, less than 24 hours after Trump was elected president.
"[A] Donald Trump [administration is] going to be among the most extraordinary, creative, inventive, exciting periods in all of American political history," Gingrich told Fox News' Sean Hannity on "Hannity". "Let [the 'Never Trump' movement] drift off into the ashbin of history while we go ahead and work with Donald Trump and with the House and Senate Republicans to create a dramatically new future."

It's clear that Trump or Newt told Hannity to back off on Hannity's announced plans to attack NeverTrumpers in Congress by name, and it's also clear that Newt told Hannity Trump's plans to appoint several high-level supporters to administrative positions, and then allowed Hannity to "ask" about those people and positions, with Newt giving "answers".
The money shot was not in the posted article but IS in the interview video linked here as well, namely, when Hannity asked about GOP Congresspersons that can't be brought around, Newt replied: "The handful of bitter-enders will ALL face a primary fight in 2018."
I would therefore suggest that "Hannity" be closely watched by anyone here who REALLY wants to know what President Trump is going to do, how he's going to do it, and the level of toughness Trump will bring to his Presidency.

You are correct. I listen very closely when Newt is on and what he says. By the way Newt said he was not interested in a Secretary position but wanted to be on the team overlooking the big changes Trump wants to make.

Obviously you didn’t watch the Newt video I posted. I suggest you watch it if you’re ACTUALLY interested in the VERY reasonable steps Newt outlined about how President Trump will deal with Congress.
