Jindal was not very supportive of Trump's campaign so I don't know how true this might be.

I like Bobby. Someone must have proposed it. And I would think they discussed it with Jindal first.

People think Trump is this vindictive guy, and frankly, I don’t see it.
You can’t be successful in business being that vindictive.

Ben Carson as the surgeon general or heading up the VA Hospital programs would be nice too.

What connection,if any, does he have to health care and related fields? He's a good man but you've gotta go with experience.I,personally, think that Ben Carson would be excellent for that post. One doesn't become a neurosurgeon at Johns Hopkins unless you've got something major going on between the ears.

I thought supportive of Trump even before Trump clinched the nomination.

I’d love to see Gov. Jindal in a Trump cabinet. He’s a true conservative.

Jindal had his severe anti-Trump moments, but ended up being among the more civil of his primary opponents.
And certainly Jindal is more than qualified for the position.

An excerpt:
Which Republicans Are Against Donald Trump? A Cheat Sheet - The Atlantic, Nov. 6, 2016
Bobby Jindal: YEA
The former Louisiana governor, who during his own presidential campaign called Trump a “narcissist” and an “egomaniacal madman,” wrote in a Wall Street Journal column that he’s voting for Trump, “warts and all.” “I think electing Donald Trump would be the second-worst thing we could do this November, better only than electing Hillary Clinton to serve as the third term for the Obama administration’s radical policies,” he said. I’m excited to see who Trump chooses. How refreshing to know the Cabinet will be decent, pro-American people and not the sordid cabal of communists and criminals we’ve had for so long now.

I am sure there are a lot of names being bandied about at Trump HQ. That doesn’t mean they’re being seriously considered.
To: TangoLimaSierra
I wouldn’t mind seeing most of his competitors in his administration some where. It would be good to help get the party unified around him. Meanwhile, leaving the Dems to self destruct.

Competent and liked by many.
Plus he checks off a diversity box, which even Donald is going to have to do.
Americans with Indian roots are becoming more numerous, and, best of al,l seem to assimilate well.
